   Does anyone have a link to a mod that works for the good version, not DE? There's a link in the comments but it wants me to install a browser extension first lmao

   If this mod is for Mafia 2 Definitive Edition then kindly Quote Mafia 2 Definitive Edition of the heading  before Real Car names.

   I tried this on the classic version of the game but nothing changed.
   
   Installed it in folder "Mafia II\pc\sds\text" (meaning the text_defaults.sds was added to that folder)
   
   There was no file there originally so I just added yours.

      hmmm... i currently don't have the classic version installed. can you copy it to pc\sds_en\text instead?

      Ok I just tried it but it made things way worse. All the english text in the game became blank, including the main menu, button prompts, all the subtitles, literally everything. Luckily I had a backup of the file so it's normal again. I think I'll stick with the default names for now..
