This mod seems amazing and I really want to try it out. But when I downloaded this mod, it screwed up all my guns, like the guns were backwards or in the wrong place, the Thompson acted like the MP40, etc. And the Molotov was a gas can?? I was weirded out and had to uninstall the mod. Does anyone have any idea why this happens?
This is a cool and interesting little mod. It says created by unknown and, intrigued, I decided to compare it to the old V2 Texture Pack and found them to be completely identical, even when extracted. The files cars\cars_universal.sds, cars\quicksilver_windsor_pha.sds, cars\quicksilver_windsor_taxi_pha.sds and shops\gas.sds were removed and anims_city\anims_city_leto.sds, particles\particles.sds, tables\ingame.sds and tables\tables.sds were added. Also exploring both mods' readmes led me to this and this blog. This mod has a very unique look compared to Spiffyskytrooper'smods or the HD Ground Textures. The only textures I can say definitely are better in this pack are 8signs02.dds, MIP_8signs02.dds, MIP_troadblk.dds, MIP_troadblk_ns.dds, troadblk.dds, and troadblk_ns.dds found in city_crash.sds and 0kanaly.dds, 0kanalys.dds, 2Advertising.dds, 8kanal01.dds, 8kanal01s.dds, 8signs01_2.dds, MIP_0kanaly.dds, MIP_2Advertising.dds, MIP_8kanal01.dds (MIP_8kanal01s.dds, the bump map texture, is missing however you can simply duplicate 8kanal01s.dds and name it in it's place), MIP_8signs01_2.dds, MIP_RESPRAY_vrata.dds, MIP_RESPRAY_vrataN.dds, RESPRAY_vrata.dds and RESPRAY_vrataN.dds found in ground_leto.sds. All the other files are pretty subjective in their quality changes. Here's a list compared to the stock assets for those curious (excludes sds that don't contain textures):
