    My \Steam\steamapps\common\Mad Max
Doesn't contain AVAMain.exe, is this abnormal?

Thank you for the 2023 update thrive4! Kudos!

Thank you for the kudos you're welcome.

      From an older comment (03/12/2020):
      Regarding the executable
      AVAmain.exe is the origin version
      MadMax.exe is the steam version
      For more info see:

      Hope this helps.

Really nice mod. Together with a new GPU and maxed out graphics feels almost like a remaster.
Thank you for not forgetting about this truly great game.

    I have no AVAmain.exe

I'm not sure if I did this correctly but if anyone wants to install this mod(looks great by the way) along with the toggle HUD mod...I installed this first, then overwritten the files with the toggle HUD mod...it seemed to have worked...the colors stayed the same and the toggle hud works fine...I'm using an xbox controller and I simply click the right analog stick to toggle the hud elements on and off...

how easy is it to merge toggle hud into this? I tried and to say the least, Im lost lol. I can deal with having to go into capture mode to change fov but going into Capture mode to turn hud on and off alot is a bitch. Or is there a easy way to adjust the hud size and what's shown. I tried in the settings.ini but didn't seem to work... Also the shaders at 4k, chefs kiss!!!

      Assuming you mean this mod:
      https://www.nexusmods.com/madmax/mods/16?tab=description

      It's a bit complicated....
You can start by comparing the d3dx.ini of both mods
most likely the toggle hud mod has key definitions
i.e [Key1], [Key2], etc these will need to be merged
with the d3dx.ini of this mod.

Maybe this will give you a bit more insight:
      https://www.nexusmods.com/codevein/mods/181
also check the comments of the mod.

      Good luck.

It's definitely an improvement in ways and the drag and drop convenience is nice. That being said, it would be cool to see this updated. Reign in the sharpening and such a bit.

Valid points, reduced aggressive sharpening in version 1.1
plus some additional tweaks see change log / description for details.

Damn, it got rid of the vignette, DOF, and all the other nonsense.

But now the game looks like it runs at 720p, jaggies everywhere, colors are more/less non-existant, and to top it off everything is also blurry.
