I've put the dropzone folder into the folder with the ex,e and the mod isn't working I've also taken the folder out of the dropzone folder and put it into the exe folder, as well as taken the vehicle upgrade file out of its folder and put it into the exe folder and no luck am I missing something any help is appreciated.
is it possible to set parts to be unlocked by dragging out buried wrecks? I feel like 90% sure that's what they were originally intended for and it got changed for some reason.
you would most likely need to write a brand new script that counts how many wrecks you pulled out and have it record the amount to a savegame
also funny you mentioned that, I recall going through an item database and seeing unused entries for things like grill and armour upgrades, shotgun parts and other things that you could trade for favours or similar. I imagine you could pay extra scrap to have someone build proper upgrades out of them too but that's just a guess
I know for certain there were cut upgrades. pre-release screenshots and videos showed the magnum opus with a tall air cleaner similar to the one on the boombugs, and fender exit exhaust. I've been digging around hoping those are still in the files somewhere, and maybe swap them over some parts i don't care for. I did find files for the rebuilt interceptor scrotus uses but i haven't been able to do anything useful with them yet. I really want to figure out a way to make that body usable.
that is true,by the way can you do a dropzone version of the aussie road markings mod thats been around here,since gog version doesnt really work with resorep
weird, I thought that one was a dropzone version by default still, I can have a look but I would need to find where road textures are stored, hopefully not too difficult
Since this game came out I've been saying I could taste the publisher meddling. I'm sure the online scrap crew thing was part of that, along with the scrap farming, the methods of unlocking parts, some of the car customization stats, etc etc etc
looking at the script for scrap deliveries from allied camps, I can tell you that's definitely the case. when you reach 600 scrap from camps, following deliveries will be capped at 30-70% of what you'd normally get. once you hit 1000 scrap from camps in a session, the deliveries stop completely, requiring a game restart

This is really great because by the time you unlocked all upgrade there's nothing left to do =_=;
any other problems, just post a comment
