I second this.  This is the thing I'm waiting on before I play the remakes.  Just can't beat the classic Sega CD music.

Awesome. I really appreciate this as I was getting headache learning to deal with acb/awb. Any plans for Saturn soundtrack for SSS and EB? The SSSC one is difficult to get off of the Saturn disk, but Silver Star Story Touch on Android has the high quality files. The Eternal Blue ones are easy to get off the Saturn disk though.

One thing to remark is that the data file has EnO_BGM, EnR_BGM, JaO_BGM, and JaR_BGM, all which seem to contain the music files. EnO being English Classic, and EnR English Remastered, and Ja being Japanese equivalents. This would all need to be modified to play the soundtrack in Classic and Japanese, and both English/Japanese have some unique non-music files.

I may consider it, it would take some time though. Converting the PSP/Saturn tracks were easy since they provide the looping points from the raw files and the only place I can find the Saturn files are just mp3 rips which could take a while to loop them perfectly since I have to find them manually. As for the Android port, I'll try to see if I can access the files on my phone since I do own the game.

Also regarding the duplicate files, since I play in English, I never bothered with the Japanese files. I'll check if there are any differences.

I'd already accessed the sound files from the Touch game and was trying to figure out how to do the looping. I used Cx File Explorer, did a backup of the Lunar SSST app, which put it in the backup folder easily accessible via usb connection on PC. From there, it was just unzipping it with 7zip. There's no encryption, and all the audio files are ogg and are all really high quality, I think maybe even higher bitrate than Saturn itself (don't know about the PSP audio files it has on it).
