I went to the website using the link provided and just needed a little help navigating, is there a specific place for mods or is it more of a scroll and see if you find it?
It fuckin sucks that the very first thing that happens after uploading my very first mod is finding out that nexus has changed so much since I first made an account that I never got around to changing emails and now it's dead with only one mod under its belt.
id say it's tragic but that's what I get for relying solely on chrome's auto fill in to log in here
from what i gather "special" weapons require custom animations to do their special flair. the weapon is based on the Greed fist and uses a special animation for dual-wielding when attacking. I don't understand most of the sprite work and animation coding so i just copied the layout of other mods as closely as possible.
to be more direct those bits are most likely place holders to tell the game how the weapon should interact with the game or to further specify -the pngs in the weapon sprite folder is just the regular weapon like most other weapon sprites but again I'm not gonna risk meddling with something that aint broke - the png in the animation folder is for the text file's reference as not only does the png define the scale of the weapon when used in-game but the text file also holds the actual animation movements.
*keep in mind this is what a gathered from ever so slightly fiddling with the files for this and other stuff at the surface level but i hope that helps*
