Install to the following path by dragging the folder from inside the .zip into BaseMods. [Install Directory]\LobotomyCorp\LobotomyCorp_Data\BaseMods If you've done it correctly, you'll end up with a file path of [Install Directory]\LobotomyCorp\LobotomyCorp_Data\BaseMods\abcdcode_CheckBarrier_MOD
Once installed, just use a shield bullet and you'll see the remaining shield life above the employee. Shield bullets naturally don't overlap, so it's not a bug if you don't see 2 bars.
