Okay so I finally got to Jo Amon and I have some words;
This cannot be an oversight if not for the fact both he and his 3 brothers who all supposed to be wrinkly af suddenly use Shin's model. When you think about it, Jo was last used in FotNS. All games afterword use had Shin, and all Amons afterword USED Shin's face model as a basis
I'm guessing Jo in 6/K2 was somehow face scanned off of a IRL person and instead of paying royalties to continue using his likeness, they stuck with Shin
This however does fuсk all but explain why Jo in 8 is just Shin, face and hair style. A baffling decision and completely ruins the whole reunion, it's like if Tanimura reappeared but he suddenly now has a 3rd new VA and a new face
From what I've researched there's no mention of any likeness being used, so Jo Amon is 100% an RGG original character. It's just them being lazy and not porting an already existing model they have.

It's such a strange choice for them to use Shin's face instead of Jo's, so when the fight started and it said "Jo Amon" I was so confused. And here I thought that maybe it's canon that Shin matured a bit (from his appearances in both Judgments) and got more serious, but it actually seems like RGGS just did a fucky whucky there lol. Why didn't they use Jo?? He's already in Dragon Engine from 6 and Kiwami 2...
Top tier mod! Wished I used this sooner when Kiryu met Jo Amon for the first time to unlock his super move but it's ok, there's the always the official fight later on.

also is it me but aren't his shades supposed to be black? in fact all Amons prior in DE had them pitch black
