I feel it's the opposite, and that was the point of the mod: to spare other players from the immersion kill. The podcasts are presented as unscripted from front to back, with the hosts working from an outline of topics and filling in the gaps with their personalities. A flub that prompts an instant re-read completely breaks that illusion. Plus it's just awkward to listen to—he repeats the line with the same cadence and intonation like it's second nature, which of course it would be if he's an old hand at bringing life to pre-scripted chats.
