Does this mod work with Shin Ryu Mod Manager? If so, can someone please explain how to get it to work with it? Thanks.

lower your cars stats.  You will still be faster then the others

Hard to say, some of the later races I think I followed some build/race guides while keeping a lot of stability.

I think the biggest issue I faced was the car was too fast, especially with some drops, so I would use a slower motor.

iirc, for the most part, I would use spiked tires and change the motor, and switch between the weighted/non-weighted car and add as much stability as possible.

Also, if you press the turbo while it's getting ready to escape, it will instantly put you back in, but you run the risk of it doing it again while the turbo is on.

your info helped a lot thanks mate! but this mini game is the most irritating and annoying i've seen, i will just quit it until a mod or cheat appears to make it so as you will never get off the track again.
i really don't understand what's the point of getting all those awesome new powerful parts to make your car stronger only to get out of the track and lose, the devs are so retards.

Edit: Also as far as i see it it doesn't matter what your stats are for if you are gonna get out of the track or not, i mean that it's totally random i just beat a track without getting off the track after doing a few attempts and leaving the track on rounds 5, 6, 8 and 11/12 for example, so yeah i am totally sure that in the game files there's a file where you can change a letter from 1 to 0 and turn the entire thing on and off...... yeah, so easy.

Edit 2: "lower your stats" my ass (no offense to you jeremyrem i am just saying again that it's totally random no matter what your stats are), i just used a car that i didn't use at all so it still had all the starter parts equipped and it still got out of the f@#$ing track.

Can you not just link a video on how you did it? I cant get it to work either because the new RMM doesnt give me the external mod folder anymore, and i dont know where else to put this folder or the files inside the folder apart from the only mod folder RMM puts into my game directory. Literally every single mod i download works apart from this one.  Also what program do you use to modify BIN Files?

Tried everything to get this mod to work and cannot get it or the life of me.

    https://i.gyazo.com/8ade8380bfab689395e2026d1cdf9dee.png

Here is a photo of everything in the place it should be. I've tried setting "LoadExternalModsOnly" to both 0 and 1.

    Unsure what else to do.

I realize the mod in the image is for billiards, I'm having the same issue with either mod.

you don't need the dbaston in the mod list order since you have external mods set already. with the Loadexternalmodsonly set to 0 and saved.

1.) Did you double check the your files are then in the order of mods folder> _externalMods folder > db.aston.en folder.
2.) After checking all the above including set to 0 and external mods in the modlist file have you run ryumodmanager gui set and saved.
3.) Then follow by running Ryumodmanager to make sure all mods are detected.

I know or a fact I did number one.
I'll double check number two and number three is new to me.

will report back with an update.

I'm not sure what else to do.
I also tried giving a separate folder for each of the mod files.
Also, the Ryumodmanager (not the GUI) detected the mods. I was in a hurry making the recording I apologize.

      https://streamable.com/rzvrn1

      Here's a screen recording.
Completely lost. Tried the golf, darts, billiards and nothing.

I noticed in your video you're missing the db.aston.en folder.

It should read: mods > _externalMods > db.aston.en > actual bin files.

Aside from that the modlist and config file read the same as mine.

Did you try running it in the mods/_externalMods folder.

It did not run for me if I had the files in just the mods folder, but it runs now after I moved them to the mods/_externalMods folder.

Do you leave the zip file as is ? or you extracted it into _externalMods folder ? I have tried everything and does not work, and I always re-run RMM after each update as instructed, I even tried leaving the db.aston.en folder in the _externalMods folder, and still not working

Yes I extracted the db.aston.en folder into the _externalMods folder.

I also turned off the LoadExternalModsOnly setting in the Parless config file and added the _externalMods into the modload order file so it would boot everything and not ask for cli mode of the mod manager.

Cheers mate, let me try your method, I have never tried the "turned off the LoadExternalModsOnly setting in the Parless config file and added the _externalMods into the modload order file so it would boot
everything and not ask for cli mode of the mod manager" , hopefully will work now

You need to add the externals mods folder name into the "Modlist" file which controls the order in which mods are loaded.

for example my modlist file now lists

      "<_externalMods|<AstonSTM|<4K_UI|<Ps4Prompts" without the quotes.

You need the latest RMM, it will create a mods folder and you put everything in mods/_externalMods

      Rerun RMM after each change

"no supported game was found in this directory" "game version is unsupported"

is there ACTUAL support for Gaiden yet? because RMM isn't working for me. and yes it's the latest version.

I am playing in English language and definitely still not working,
not sure how you got it working, I have done everything correctly and
using the latest RMM 3.4.1 and all the mods you made did not work (pool,
golf, pocket circuit) , perhaps you can put a step by step of what you
    did ? Cheers

Hey, thanks for the mods taking a lot of the tedium out of the minigames. Was wandering if you were planning on something similar for the gambling games? Perhaps just putting the cheat items in the pawn shop would work?

There are other mods that currently do this, to avoid conflicts, I won't be editing items/stores at this time.

As for the games themselves, I didn't see any settings related to difficulty or probabilities.

It currently only supports the english version.

You can rename the db folder with your language code at the end for it to work with other languages, but the text will display in english for the parts.
