I'm curious if the face sculpt for his model was found in game or was modified, I saw someone saying that it might be from an unused "human" version of Romeo that was buried in the files
There's still some major issues. When teleporting from Star gazers, the head glitches out and half of the hair disappears, and there's some clipping issues with outfits like the alchemist cloak. Also there's still no blinking or expressions:p Upon further testing, the left side of the hair seems to despawn randomly too. Not sure why though... sometimes if the camera is zoomed out a little, it despawns.
I'm afraid these clipping issues are from the game itself, the original long hair will also wear out the mold in the alchemist cloak, if you reach the Real Boy ending wearing this cloak you'll get what I mean. You mentioned that when teleporting from Stargazers, half of Romeo's hair disappeared. I did not encounter such a problem. I don't know what happened. I guess it was caused by the light, because as you know, half of Romeo's hair was singed. , so it's pretty thin, and yesterday I redid that half again, and in certain lights, it might still not be that noticeable.
It seems to be a camera issue. Half of the hair will despawn in places like the workshop where the camera is farther back. The clipping isn't noticable as much but the hair does despawn in places like that.
Firstly, good job on this mod! The overall likeness of Romeo's base is there. As others mentioned, it would be nice to add some facial expressions and perhaps some extra shading to his sclera to give some warmth to his face. Thanks for your work on this 👍
Thanks, I've added some shading to the sclera in the new version, as well as some facial expressions, but they are only subtle changes and I haven't been able to fix this yet. Maybe someday I'll find a way.
