How do i load the custom levels, I checked the original mod and it says to walk through the "A New Hope" door in the bonus room, but it doesn't load a new room (Dexter's Diner), just the "A New Hope" level.
Whenever I put the dat files in a separate folder which you would need to do for mods to work it just crashes but when i put them back in it works but without the mods any advice?
Mod does not appear to work anymore for me. Uninstalled and reinstalled game, changed drives the game was on, followed instructions to a T, somehow all that works is the improved textures on levels, but everything else remains the same. Absolutely no idea what's causing this, and absolutely no way to tell. I assume something recent broke it, but I have no idea what. Would be helpful to get some feedback, but otherwise it looks like I'm gonna have to try alternate ways of updating the game look.
Notes: - Same result regardless of how many other mods I installed, and it appears to break them regardless of if it comes before or after in installation order. - As mentioned before, level textures and reflections work fine but characters do not update in their appearance at all. Cause still unknown but it does not appear tied to other mods as I installed it by itself on a fresh install and had no changes. - Removed PAK files outlined in the ReadMe, don't bother wagging your finger at me about not reading the instructions, no changes even if I left em in or removed em. - Appears Audio files update too, so it just appears to be the characters that are broken, which for all intents and purposes is the main draw to this mod anyways, so I'd like to get it running at some point, and know it works, just apparently not now. -Absolutely nothing has changed hardware or software wise between initial success and current failure. Only variables are the game itself and the mod.
Would like some input from more experienced individuals, but I'd agree with one of the earlier comments; should probably be a dedicated tutorial for this that outlines steps in more detail. Thanks.
