when you go to the quickbms site press ctrl+f and then search for ttgames then download the file once you launch quickbms find the file you downloaded then click on it next ctrl+click all the ".DAT" files then choose the output folder then just wait for extract
Instructions were very unclear about the QuickBMS and the aforementioned "ggame.dat" is a mystery to me. Wish there was a step-by-step process since a lot of people don't really know how modding works.
It's late but https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EQ3hPrh0V8I found to be helpful and clear (Note: after extracting game assets and copying into game folder, and installing Ferskywalker's mod, move all .dat , .hdr, and '__disc__' files somewhere else) The YT video also has links (under the video) for the modding Discord channel you'll need to visit to get the patched EXE files to run the games with extracted content. It is possible to install multiple new character mods at the same time, but involves hexediting the global.led file, text editing the text.csv, and various other .txt files to merge all the new mod content.
Update: There may also be rare glitches with the story using extracted content and patched EXE files. To complete the Story Ep 6 Train level I had to add "character "MsMarvel_KamalaKhan" player" into '..\LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2\LEVELS\STORY\6OLDWEST\6OLDWESTB\6OLDWESTB.TXT' as some of the 'pull' items wouldn't recognise Kid Colt's lasso (or Spiderman's web either. Turns out Spiderman is useless on that level anyway as jumps too high for the fire rings)? .

Late reply but there are heaps of modpacks with different characters out there (another good one is https://gamebanana.com/mods/386469 ), just not authors not submitting on Nexus for some reason.
