5 years later and I'm back, I decided to give this mod another try. I've changed my mind, it's really not that bad! Once you overcome the initial difficulty, the mod almost becomes too easy. I should have mentioned, my first attempt was on Hard, but this time I chose to play on Normal.
You do eventually find a Mortar & Pestle! Most of the puzzles are fair, and quite easy to solve for an experienced player. I think the problem I made back then was venturing into areas that were too high-level for my party, but those areas have warning messages that pop-up. Perhaps I should have heeded those messages!
It's a decent mod, but don't expect anything crazy. I won't spoil anything, but there's some real technical modding skill on display in a certain puzzle, and a few bossfights. There's almost too much loot. I had plenty of consumables left over in the end.
Lastly, I must confess my sin; I had to look up something. The location of the Green Gem. I fine-combed not just the Gardens, but every single area with "Fronds" for that thing. After more than 2 hours i caved in and referred to the manual.
I'll go along with Gabula, very dungeon master like but I did not find the Mortar & Pestle for a long time. I had to spawn something just to stay alive. Way to many different keys to search out without that many clues. I don't know if one is supposed to jump and trigger the one button but I could not do it.
Cool dungeon for displaying Germanny's Dungeon Master assets. But the levels are too difficult. There's no mercy shown when you step into a room with no turning back, with little to no armor on any of your characters (not even basic rags are found early on) and you get killed by monsters who are way too strong for your party. You also do not get a Mortar & Pestle at all it seems, so you cannot make potions. An early injury or a poisoned party member means Game Over.
Very enjoyable dungeon. Great work. Also, where do you find the three gems required to open the door to the Diamond Edge?? PS. Never mind - the answer is in the DOCS. Kudos for providing help ;-)
Hello, Thanks for the demo.... sorry you dont have maked a really mod... This asset is the best (thanks Germany) for dungeon master fan (csb fan for me) i see the wall, i dream... Thanks
Wonderful! Truth, it wasn't trully long... but attention to details, cool secrets, interresting hints here and there... not to mention the whole Germanny's resources, carefully and cleverly placed. Stop reading, start downloading, it's worth it!
I'm leaving this comment here for those are unsure whether to try this mod. The short answer is yes. The longer answer as to the reason is that I was never bored, never annoyed for too long, always had somewhere else to explore if I was stuck, nothing felt cheap, everything looked fantastic, and there were so many crafty puzzles and riddles the vanilla game would be proud to have.

I finished with 32/44 Secrets found.
I also can not recommend this mod.
