The following morning your Sorcerer finds that in one corner of the rocky beach wall, a person can pass through the apparently stony barrier! Through the rock face he finds a stairway down, to flooded dungeon passages of mystery and horror. PREPARATIONpreparation steps, ideally choose 3 items now that you no longer wantSTEP 2 place the 3 unwanted items on hands of the team very easy to get toenter deep water, place each of the 3 unwanted items onto alcoves adjacent to trapdoorSTEP 3 trapdoor opens, descend to Forest areafind 2 forest statues with stone plates, choose 2 further items you no longer wantSTEP 4 place 1 unwanted item onto the plate, do not try and get it backnearby a valuable key appears onto the Pressure Plate, take the keySTEP 5 do not retrieve unwanted items from statues you gain 1 Gold key, 1 Skull key STEP 6 check out STEP R that mentions location of Skull Lock move to the Skull lock location, use Skull keySTEP 7 enter new dungeon area, NOTE location of 2nd Skull Lock STEP 8 you now need to make your way to the 2nd Gold key and HERDER ISLANDSTEP 9 go as per STEP Q but keep an eye out on the N triple gates, they should now be openSTEP 10 ascend onto the N pavement through the open gatesSTEP 11 move past the spider eggs and into ADV CASTLESTEP 12 move N to the bookshelves and look for a strange item poking through a wallSTEP 13 you can see at the bottom of the wall the end of an item, thus a fake wallSTEP 14 move through the fake wall and pick up the GREEN SHARD, now put it backSTEP 15 a secret door opposite OPENS but do not fight the enemies which appearSTEP 16 lure them away from the secret room they came fromSTEP 17 weave around them, see the 2nd Gold key, grab it! you descend to a flooded trackSTEP 18 move along the flooded track to HERDER ISLAND, use the 2 gold keys to open the trapdoorSTEP 19 TIP if you cannot open the stone door, place an item onto the adjacent stone pavement, door opensSTEP 20 you drop down to THE MINE, your mission here is TO FIND THE MINE KEY, that's allSTEP 21 head to N wall and move around until you see a huge hulking magma golem standing by the N wallSTEP 22 jump on top of the golem to kill it, ALSO the Mine Key is on the ground where the Golem was standingSTEP 23 now ascend from the Mine Arena through a strange looking incessed mine wall that you can climb upSTEP 24 use Mine Key to open Gates to Advanced Castle, the Skeleton Commanders' WATCH TOWERSTEP 25 note the FIVE ground pressure plates, KEEP OFF the end pressure plate, this opens the wooden door on the E wallSTEP 26 avoiding the fifth pressure plate, familiarise yourself with the other 4 which only monsters can activate so you can freely move over themSTEP 27 now lure the Skeleton Commanders or their Minions onto the 4 pressure plates, they get imprisoned, when all 4 are set, nearby trapdoor unlocksSTEP 28 only THEN can you set off Pressure Plate 5 but no need to yet, your next priority is the now unlocked trapdoor, descend down to RUINSSTEP 29 you now see THE GEAR KEY and the route to THE TOMB (but you need Tomb Keys to actually get there) STEP 30 take all 3 wall torches to open a secret cache STEP 31 explore around this area, find 2 x Tomb LocksSTEP 32 each Tomb Lock needs a Tomb Key to activate it and in turn, a magic bridge is activated nearby (could be temporarily) to allow you over to THE TOMB entranceSTEP 33 now return to where you grabbed the Gear Key at Step 29STEP 34 move to the S wall and move W until you come to the water channelSTEP 35 drop into the water and you are back at STEP 18STEP 36 if you cannot do that e.g. you are chased by Ugguaradians then simply go back and repeat STEP 17 descend the same trapdoor downSTEP 37 you return to HERDER ISLAND, if the stone door is closed, place an item on the adjacent pavement OR pick up the item, replace itSTEP 38 descend to THE MINE, find the GEAR LOCK - fight the Uguardians, NEXT are the ICE GUARDIANS, take them all down to achieve a big bonus! (SECRET WALL OPENS in Ice Guardian base) STEP 39 from Ice Guardian Base up the stairs you find 2 important keys in N Swamp: Mine Key, Skull Key STEP 40 if you killed all the Ice Guardians in the Mine then great! shotcut through the Secret Mine hall to the Adv Castle and activate Plate 5 as per Step 26STEP 41 if you didn't kill all the Ice Guardians simply get back to Adv Castle via step 24, there isn't a loty of differenceSTEP 42 either way enter the Night Forest from the NE corner of the Skeleton Commanders' WatchtowerSTEP 43 when you get into the centre of the Night Forest take ALL the items, obviously the Tomb Key but all lesser items too STEP 44 when you get to the S tree walk way and the pair of dogs, there is a secret cache here, you can climb up the lightning struck oak and move over itTIP if you find the secret cache you can just climb up to the tree walk way by moving towards it, but collect the Warhammer firstSTEP 45 enter the DAY FOREST and locate the parallel troughsSTEP 46 you may have been here before so you should know that this Forest has a side tunnel back onto RUINSSTEP 47 it would be worth checking the S Stage as described at STEP X because the secret cache you opened earlier could have opened the other sideSTEP 48 check the S Stage and if items are still present on the alcoves by the W Wall move to the Northern boundary wall and take items/ replace items in the alcovesTIP if you succeed and manage to move N through to the next section then NOTE; that there is a further secret cache in the next N wall as well (secret button) STEP 49 now check your KEYS to see where you should go from here, you should have a MINE KEY and a SKULL KEYSTEP 50 as per STEP N enter THE FOREST to get back to "THE CASTLE"STEP 51 use the ladder to Skull Lock 1, move past that to Skull Lock 2STEP 52 insert your Skull Key and enter THE CEMETARY - you will see a partially obscured ILLUMINATED pressure plate, almost buried in the ground earth, just one edge can still be seenSTEP 53 lure any undead that you encounter onto this pressure pad which then OPENS the nearby Stone Gate. exit through Stone GateSTEP 54 move around to the right and find second pressure plate in long grass, you need to lure an undead onto this pressure plate tooSTEP 55 TIP don't worry if the Stone Gate closes down stopping undead from following you, it will soon open again [SLEEP] STEP 56 as soon as undead go onto the 2nd pressure plate an IRON GATE opens, this one is the Holy Hathharag Grounds and has two very important routes leading off itTIP ROUTE A, leads back to Ruins Level (BLUE STONES) ROUTE B, needs a GEAR KEY but leads to a major mission (2nd Round key) TIP SECRET CACHE in hollow boulder on the E edge (look for strange grass square at edge) STEP 57 find the Cemetary Exit on the S edge and prepare for a big fight with the Skeleton Archers HOWEVER do not kill them all, leave at least one or two aliveTIP when you take items from GuardHouse alcoves a secret door opens giving you access back to the Ruins PavementTIP lure a couple of Skeleton Infantry out, make them follow you out onto the PRESSURE PAD next to the flooded passageway (BONUS BRIDGE) (BONUS AWARD)TIP the action of luring out infantry onto the Pressure Pad is more difficult than it seems but your Bonus Award is very pleasing if you succeed! TIP remember where the Gear Lock is in the Cemetary, another Gear Key is not far off in the game, you will need to return here soon! STEP 58 if you succeed in activating the Bonus Bridge move across it and remember STEP 30 if you did not heed that beforeSTEP 59 if you did not succeed in activating the Bonus Bridge then go as per STEP 28 in Skeleton Commanders' WATCHTOWER (use trapdoor down) THE TOMB STEP 60 use your Tomb key to proceed W to the TOMB ENTRANCE. either Tomb Lock will activate a magic bridge across the flooded passages (could be a temporary bridge) STEP 61 enter THE TOMB, note the Serpent Bracer alcove, this is right next to an important exit/ entrance to the CATACOMBS LEVEL, this is currently locked but automatically unlocks later on STEP 62 descend to the ground floor level, FIND ANOTHER TOMB KEY on ground levelSTEP 63 use the next TOMB KEY to exit onto Tomb CentralTIP look to your left, you see a messy dirty floor - this indicates a FAKE WALL right there, move straight through the fake wall (VERY IMPORTANT)STEP 64 fully explore through the fake wall, then ascend up double height ladder back to starting point of Tomb Level, descend and go to where you found the Ground Level Tomb Key (see STEP 62)STEP 65 now as your Team move back around, they see an open Portcullis revealing a new section of THE TOMB to play STEP 66 you enter the Ancient Antiquities Hall, all kinds of fabulous vases and pots have been stored here, against what looks like a raised plaza for the Ghastly Mummies and their Fetid FidosSTEP 67 in fact this is a trick, there is no raised plaza at all, smash the vases so that you can make your way to what appears to be a solid wall, it isn't, it's fakeSTEP 68 move through and past the fake wall, but be careful, what appears to be a rag tag Mummie outfit with nothing to scare your crew - will soon balloon into a full scale nightmareSTEP 69 prepare for a pretty big battle, if you have shield potions or crystal shield shards USE THEMRAPIER SWORDS MISSIONS** there are 4 puzzle statues in the game **the main puzzle scenario is in the Advanced Tomb, where two statues stand either side of a Portcullis, insert a Rapier Sword into the arms of each statue to open the Gate (1st round key)STEP 70 after the Tomb Battle described at STEP 69, descend the stairs to the rapier Swords TELEPORTER STATIONSSTEP 71 there are two teleporters that send you on missions, at the end of which, you eventually find a Rapier Sword.STEP 72 the missions can be done in any order, however one mission invloves ETHERALS. the other mission contains a holy stantion which if used correctly, will damage EtheralsSTEP 73 so for maximum effectiveness do the mission first that you find the ACOLYTE STAFF, CAREFUL do not move from the tree yet, you might need to turn around, the Acolyte Staff is behind the tree, GRAB IT!STEP 74 Teleporter S takes you to SWAMP and the Acolyte Staff, Teleporter N takes you to a dungeon level where Etherals have taken over a passagewaySTEP 75 if you take the Teleporter S through THE SWAMP prepare for a pretty big battle, if you have shield potions or crystal shield shards USE THEM, big fighting episode hereSTEP 76 so you emerge, bloodied and bruised back onto the RUINS LEVEL, what's new? ok look carefully around in your vicinity you now see a MAGIC BRIDGE has activated, cross it to grab RAPIER SWORD 1 STEP 77 you now need to get back to Tomb Level to access the 2nd teleporter as per STEP 70STEP 78 so reliable route is drop down nearest TRAPDOOR to Swamp, then move to Spider Eggs as per STEP 11 etc etc and back to THE TOMB via the Skeleton Commanders' WATCH TOWERTIP do you have any IRON KEYS? if so stop off in the SPIDERS CHAMBER where you found the two spiders at the start of Castle Level. Unlock the IRON LOCK in the corner TIP if you have a 2nd Iron Key this will unlock the Major Catacombs Mission, you can start the Mission but not finish it unless you also have 2 Brass keys, so have a bit of fun and familiarise yourself with the challenge but without 2 brass keys as well, it will just be a try out go .....STEP 79 get back to the 2nd teleporter on STEP 70 and fight the Etherals, at the end of the Mission a 2nd Rapier sword is found but right in the middle of the Infantry Barracks so look hard, you also find another Brass key there too!
