This mod features voices ripped from Left 4 Dead: Survivors (LEFT 4 DEAD -生存者たち-), also known as Left 4 Dead: Arcade (L4DAC). This was a Japanese arcade adaptation of Left 4 Dead 2, developed specifically for the Japanese market. Unlike the original game, L4DAC introduced a completely new cast of survivors with unique backstories and Japanese voice acting. This mod brings these characters' voices into Left 4 Dead 2, replacing the default survivors with their L4DAC counterparts.

Merges raw L4DAC content with some fixes to avoid empty lines, etc. Includes subtitles from the original arcade game (in Japanese).

Also includes all NPCs in the base game, like Whitaker and Virgil.

- Easy to install, no need to rebuild sound caches
- Doesn't overwrite your default l4d2 sound.cache making uninstallation as easy as deleting the addon files
- Batch script for one click install, or alternatively modify your gameinfo.txt. More info below under Installation
- Scene files adjusted to accurate Taito sound file lengths
- Talker scripts with timings adjusted to -(audio length + 0.5) to prevent survivors from interrupting each other
- Uses audio length from Taito L4DAC dubs for better synchronization
- Replaces scenes using empty filler audio files with blank scenes to improve dialogue flow and stop displaying unused subtitles
New Voice Cast
- Yusuke Kudo (工藤祐介) (Voiced by Ryuichi Kijima, replacing Nick and Bill) - A Japanese college student on a long-awaited trip to America when the outbreak began.
- Haruka Hirose (広瀬遥) (Voiced by Ayane Sakura, replacing Coach and Francis) - A Japanese high school student visiting America during a school trip when the outbreak started.
- Sara Kirishima (霧島沙良) (Voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro, replacing Rochelle and Zoey) - A Japanese-American tour guide who was supervising a high school field trip when the infection spread.
- Blake Jordan (ブレイク・ジョーダン) (Voiced by Hidenori Takahashi, replacing Ellis and Louis) - An American bartender and former Navy member working in a hotel lounge when the outbreak began. He remains positive but worries about the dog he left at home.

Installation
- Download the mod file/s you want.
- Extract the folders you want to your L4D2 "addons" folder. By default, this is
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons - Download the Sound Mod Quick Install Batch Script and run the .bat file to automatically add the necessary paths OR
Manually add the required paths to your `gameinfo.txt` file under `SearchPaths` like this. Note the below example assumes you're using the All-In-One package, you will have to adjust if you're using the optional files.
