Not working it turns into Republic soldier. Tested both with and without TSLRCM installed.

When i play it without the restoration mod from steam it works fine, but when i play it with the restoration mod, it turns my Vader model into a telos guard. i tried following the advice from previous posts but nothing works. please help i want to pit vader against the jedi masters in the game but i want to with tslrcm

To make it work with TSLRCM you have to install AVOL Darth Vader AFTER installing TSLRCM. Make sure you run the Darth Vader installer as Administrator as well so that it has proper permissions to edit everything. If you install AVOL Darth Vader before TSLRCM it will screw up the Darth Vader model. Tell me if this fixes the issue for you.

i keep subcribing the restoration mod first and installing the vader mod second. but it seems that it just doesn't want to work with each other, it shows kreia now and when i unsubscribe to the restoration mod on steam and play it, the Vader mod works as normal. i still dont know what to do.

Oh well that is your problem. You are using Steam Workshop, LOL! I have heard that mods do not work with Steam Workshop very well. Try installing TSLRCM 1.8.5 using the standalone files instead of Steam Workshop. You can download the latest version of TSLRCM here: https://deadlystream.com/files/file/578-tsl-restored-content-mod/

Then after installing TSLRCM 1.8.5 install the AVOL Darth Vader mod after that. Tell me if this fixes your issue! :)

Hey! Me again. You wouldn't happen to know what parts of the texture file for the armor correspond to what part of the armor, would you? I'm trying to add the ribbed pattern to Vader's arms and legs but don't want to mess up.

I have been having a problem on a freshly modded install, to were when I go to select a custom character and select vader his head is missing and in the prologue and in the first mission his entire body is invisible but the game is still playable, and I went and added the armor in my inventory figuring that may solve the problem went to equip it and it ctd'd. Any solutions? This is the only mod that is currently not working out of the 90 I have. It is also installed last, I have uninstalled and reinstalled, attempted a new game three times on the restored content mod, and each time is head is absent.

WOW! You have 90 mods. That sounds like it would be tough to know which mods conflict with this one. Did you install the Restored Content Mod from the Steam Workshop? Because I have found out that this can screw up a bunch of mods.

Never mind. Currently trying to mod the armor stats and my changes to the mdx file don't stick (i.e. I apply them and then they are totally different if I open the .uti again). Any suggestions?

What mods do you have installed? Make sure you install this mod AFTER you install all of the other mods in your collection. That will ensure that the Darth Vader model will not be overridden. Tell me if this works for you.

You need the KOTOR tool, which allows you to extract the file from the .uti (don't know the precise name of it off the top of my head) that allows you to set alignment, but you'll need a script editor because opening the file with word messes with the table format. You can actually remove alignment completely if you want to.

Whenever I try to use the mod, the model is instead Kreia. idk if anyone else is having this problem but I was wondering if there was a fix, i only have the restoration mod installed and it's compatible so any help would be great

Try reinstalling the Darth Vader mod again. Because if you installed the Darth Vader mod first and then installed the restoration mod it could screw up some models. So try installing the restoration mod and then installing the Darth Vader mod on top of it. Then it should work perfectly if both mods are compatible with each other.
