Not sure if this is abandoned or not, but just letting you know your mod has been took and poorly posted onto Steam Workshop. I doubt you gave the dude permission, he has a history of taking other mods and posting them there. For those that are wanting to use the Steam Version, don't waste your time. He uploaded it poorly and it's likely out of date. All it will do is throw up missing textures.
I did see that. And I unfortunately don't know what all I can do about it other than thank everyone for pointing the comments to the original. I'm sure the intent was good and the reposter did leave a link so I'm grateful either way. I didn't give any permission but as you said, if he's got a history of it and there's not really a takedown system, there's not much I believe can be done. And ultimately, I wouldn't have much of an issue with a repost as long as it was a quality workshop upload that works (well, about as well as I got it to work anyhow haha). But when that's people's first impression of the mod, it does feel bad when it doesn't work for them as intended. Thank you for letting me know though!
This mod isn't perfect, for example it makes the smoke from turret explosions actually look worse than the default game....very pixellated like a 90's video game, unless its something to do with TSL restoration conflicting but i don't think it is. i suggest if you install it put the files in a sub folder for easy removal if you don't like it. More work went into the advertizing on Nexus than the actual mod I think, dunno
I've definitely had that issue with the explosions in particular but no idea on how to fix it. The images are technically a higher resolution than the base game by a considerable amount. I did intend each texture to be modular and able to be removed so I'm glad that that workaround worked for you.
I didn't advertise this on the nexus or anywhere at all so idk what that comment is about haha.
As for the amount of effort put into it, it was only a month or two of work. Nothing insane, but it's not like I just pooped out some textures haha. I do appreciate your comment however, thank you for using the mod in the first place.

I opened the smoke and explosion files in Gimp and added the Gaussian Blur effect to them each twice. Fixed I like this mod. Thanks IceEclipse
I enjoyed this mod from steam workshop because it worked for me but now I'm trying to mod everything manually and was hoping to get this to work. I'm very confused about the files in the download as there are 60+ files in the download but I have a feeling some are just different colors of the same texture. I can't seem to figure out which files contain which color texture. If your cool with walking me through how to decide which files I should move to my override folder, I would appreciate it very much. Like I said, love this mod just very confused on the files because I haven't been doing the manual modding very much.
Well due to have almost the same effects as KotOR 1, you can use these effects there too. It works for both games just fine. At least in first mission, didn't try it after that.
