As mentioned earlier, the .tga has transparency, which is why you can see through him. Now to remove this open the .tga file with any program that can do this, such as GIMP, select layer -> layer mask -> Transparency and delete the layer mask. Any way you can get rid of the transparency will do.
I'm having an issue where some of the textures are transparent, so I opened your texture files up in paint.NET and sure enough, on all the grey parts, the checkered background shows up, which means its made to be clear/see-through.
