For anyone out there struggling with this mod you can do all these changes yourself. Just download *Reshade* which is a safe program not a scam and you'll need it to run these *ENB's* anyway. Download it and run, then point it at KotOR 2 which should pop up on the installer list then pick a few shader packs to use there are tons the first 3-5 on the list are as good as any others. Then run the game and press the HOME key and follow the simple instructions there. You don't need these mods. My personal recommendation is using the Magic Bloom, HDR(fake), Curves and the AmbientLighting options from the Reshade checklist. its looks fantastic and gives lights an actual glow.

No clue how this works with current Reshade, and there's no preset included. Fiddled with it for an hour, and no closer to getting it to work. (And no, "just drop it in the main folder" doesn't work since there's no preset included in the files. Leaving me with no idea what effects to use, and multiple compiling errors). Don't get lured in by the screenshots. Use something else.

download reshade first instail reshade then go into the reshade file for this reshade preset and grab everything and throw it in your kotor 2 file which you can find by going on steam click on kotor2 properties then local files then finally browse

So the Mediator.exe doesn't work but people have got the mod to work by just throwing all the files in the main game folder. But doing this makes the game lag like crazy and I'm pretty sure its because its running every single effect in the ReShade folder. To fix this just delete every folder in the main ReShade folder except CustomFX, PersonalFiles, ReShade and SweetFx. This should fix the FPS issue.

Also for the people who don't like the over the top bloom effect just delete Gaussian.h from the CustomFX folder. Hope this Helps!

Huge lack of direction and tutorials, if anyone can tell me where do these files go, it be a much greater help, no help at all from the description

i got it to work and it was like an alpha version of Aperion kotor.. But it ate the s#*! out of my fps and was choppy with stutter no matter what. is there a way around that? i put everything to low and took off aa of course.. but no avail. and i do have a solid pc.

i notice in your screenshots you yourself were even dipping down to 25 fps. thats the only drawback with this mod..you did a good job on it but its unplayable. i guess ill have to wait for aperion kotor to really get the eye candy .

I am completely new to modding and was told to Unpack the Folder into the override folder of the game, you know, steam/steamapps/common/swkotor2/override.. I unpacked the mod file in that location but am noticing no change, what did I "F" up... thanks for any help

It says to put everything in the game folder, so where the exe is. It also says you have to run Mediator.exe but I didn't due to it not working... it worked anyway.
The game looks awful in many places and tanks my fps even though my PC is decent. Perhaps with an even better PC and some changes to the files it would be fantastic.
