I wish I didn't need a mod like this, however, for some reason when I use buffs in the middle of combat, it bugs out the defense animations. All of a sudden the character won't play the dodge, block, or hit-taken animations. Thankfully with this mod, I can just buff and not worry about rebuffing in the middle of fights.
Can someone just make a mod, that only affects the duration of Speed like this?? That's only one of the two non-offensive powers i really use in this game the other being Healing, i don't care for the rest, but i also don't want my party members to spam all of the stat boosting powers at once for them to last till i beat the entire planet or something LOL...I just want my character to run damn faster and i can't use console on my mobile version of the game for obvious reasons and enter "turbo" command (which honestly i would freaking love being able to do...but since ios doesn't allow cheats in traditional sense, there is nothing you can do about it...)
I am using other mods that involve Force abilities, such as the "High Level Force Powers" mod yet had this before adn the mod worked fine. I know this won't affect modded powers. When I activate abilites like Knight Speed, it disappears after 10 secodns or so. Have extracted the file to my "Override" directory. Anyone know how to fix this?
It doesn't seem to work for me on Improved Energy Resistance or Force Resistance. If I recall correctly it was working on the first tier of Energy Resistance; I don't know if there's something weird happening when it transitions to the full party or if it was just left out of the list by mistake. But those two last a minute or two by default so it's not a huge problem.
Other than that I love this; I cannot express how annoying it was to hit Speed every 30 seconds for the entire game just to avoid crawling everywhere, and before installing this I barely used any buffs just because it seemed pointless to invest several levels worth of powers just to waste actions at the start of every fight and then have them run out anyway just before I needed them.
If you had the interest and skill, I think the optimal approach in terms of both game balance and convenience would be to turn buff powers into toggles instead of spells with a duration. So if you activated Knight Speed, your max force points would be reduced by 25 until you turned it off, but you would have the benefits active until you removed them to devote those points elsewhere. But that would require a lot of code and possibly a UI change instead of just shifting a handful of variables up, so I can see how it might never happen.
The modded durations seem to work fine on Force Immunity and Master Energy Resistance, so the problems with the powers mentioned above will only apply until your character gains a few more levels.
Unfortunately, the duration increase seems to work perfectly on Force Sight, a power that's somewhat useful for a few seconds at a time, but which gives no benefit in the long term and causes everything on the screen except for living organics to turn a flat grey, and has no way to voluntarily turn it off. Is there any chance of a new version of this mod with updated lists, or do I need to uninstall it or never use Force Sight?
There are a few specific locations, like the Handmaiden sparring, which will strip all powers away, but you can't use Force Breach on yourself and there's not even an option to turn off active effects in the save editor I can find. Getting a power you don't want, like Force Sight, stuck on with this mod means waiting like half an hour to see anything. Or having another character take point all the time...

Also if i could make a suggestion? maybe an increase in the force point cost would be prudent too so as not to effect game balance too much... maybe 5x duration force powers with a 3x cost? or a 5x cost? seriously ive been trying to do this myself for ages but lack the skills... maybe have the first teir of the powers 2x2 the second teir 4x4 and the third teir 8x8 if its not too much codeing?
