Hello, has anyone made the UI detection mask for 4k resolution?
    It would be a god-send!

I've tried searching for a solution with no results, so I might as well ask here.

for some reason the SSR reflections and UIDetect aren't working.  I don't know why this would be the case.  I notice some other settings don't work either, but SSR and UI Detect are the more noticeable so I'm wondering if you have any suggestions on how to make it work.  I installed Reshade, and your Reshade template.  I'm using 1920 x 1080 resolution at 60hz.  However, it is through the update, and not through the widescreen mod, so possibly UIDetect isn't working because of that.

    Thank you

Just a PSA, unfortunately the MXAO (ambient occlusion - little shadows around edges etc.) part of this doesn't work with multisampling AA, but it seems that you have to have multisampling AA turned on for the UI masking functionality in this mod to work properly in menus (without AA, the menus are mostly very blurry).  So you have to choose between ambient occlusion without AA and blurry menus with AA, basically.

I discovered this when trying to get rtgi global illlumination working (the raytracing effect by Pascal Gilcher) to add to this package (which I think is otherwise very nice).  It needs to access the z-axis information (depth buffer I think it's called), and I think the latest versions of reshade can't access the depth buffer if multisampling AA is on.

[Later note: on further experimentation, the culprit for the blurriness with AA off is the two mods adaptive fog and depth haze - hitting the default "-" on the numpad if you're spending any extended time fiddling about in equip or inventory is an easy enough workaround :) ]

The only down side of this reshade, is that the UIDetect doesn´t work with my resolution and i dont have the required skills to edit the settings of this UIDetect, still this reshade is so beatiful, nice work men.

    Cheers

Hello, and thank you for the mod !
" I recommend that you set a hotkey to toggle SSR (for example Numpad +), DepthHaze & AdaptiveFog (Numpad -)." => How do you do this please?

When you are in-game and open Reshade menu (by pressing Home by default), you can see a list of active shaders in the Home tab. It should look like in this video. You can then right-click on a shader and set a hotkey to quickly toggle it on/off later. A pop-up will appear, then you click on "Click to set keyboard shortcut" and press a hotkey you'd like to use. You can assign the same hotkey to many shaders. :)

Ok it works very nicely now :) I struggled because I did not copy "Kotor Reshade Settings.ini" in the game folder u_u lol, maybe you should add that step in your instalation tutorial
Have fun and may the force be with you

Hi! When you install Reshade, you have an option to select what shader packages to install ("Select effect packages to install") – you should select all of them except "Legacy standard effects" at the very bottom. You can see the process in this video. You can add the packages by running the installer again, it'll give you an option to do that. Hope this help! :)
