Howdy. Saw below that others were having issues on android with a solid black hk47. I will now comment with the below in mind as I am having the same issue.
- I installed with the patcher as instructed. (This mod is not unfamiliar to me. #pc modding) - Portrait and party screen icons are black/gone as well. - I intended to try the renaming idea but noticed I do not have a DP_HK47.dds. I do have a DP_HK47.mdl and .mdx
Any help appreciated. I can add screenshots or provide more info as needed.
EDIT - I now realize the dp_hk47.dds is from optional files. - Renaming did not work. - Optional files showed a change in model shape but still is totally black. - I did try this on a fresh install to the same issue, but in case I am mistaken this is the mod list I used. I use almost every mod on here and the only one that I am aware of that changes the HK47 model is one where I skipped on him knowing I would be using this mod. EDIT#2: Not sure why, but deleting the files in the Override folder makes his picture and party selection stuff return. Now his model is totally gone (which is a predictable result, but I want to be thorough in documentation.)
It could be that Aspyr changed something in the Android version's code and it no longer recognises the legacy Neverwinter Nights DDS format. I have no idea since I don't have a copy of that version of the game so am unable to test. Maybe I'll replace the textures with TPC versions at some point.
Edit: Huh, checking my local files, it seems I already converted the textures at some point. I guess I just never got around to uploading an updated version of the mod. Doing so now.
I can confirm that the update was a success. It even seems to be compatible with other mods that only use the override folder that do not modify the 2DA file. (though obviously it overwrites as it should.)
I can see the portrait, party selection screen window, his character, as well as all of the lights on his model working as intended. I tested with both versions.
TLDR: Android is working. Thanks so much for the help!
EDIT: I believe the renaming to lowercase should help IOS users. My understanding is that android's KOTOR files are not case sensitive. ( I did test them capitalized and uncapitalized to the same working result.)
a Nice reskin, I have no plans on using it personally as the HK's in the MMO were made well after the original, and the HK here in KOTOR I was custom made by revan, so for the mass produced one's appearances to be different is acceptable and can be chalked up to design adjustments.
Are you using a laptop, an integrated GPU on a desktop, or a really old video card? I gather you have the issue with environment maps not working as intended.
this is awesome, although HK does not have the core in his chest showing that's just HK-51 also would it be ok if you could add the head you made in your K2 mod as well.

To start with, go to the Override folder and look for:
DP_HK47.dds
DP_CLASSIC47.dds
PO_PHK47.dds
PO_PHK472.dds
PO_PHK473.dds
and change filenames from uppercase to lowercase.
