About this mod

A very basic mod that tweaks the values for the weapon damages in the game and should make range weapons way more viable.

Permissions and credits
I took the original idea from here : Weapon Base Stats Rebalance , but i wanted to go further.

Here is the list of the complete changes :

- Fix the disruptor damage type : physical -> universal

MELEE

- Lightsabers have same stats and properties than kotor 2 TSL
- Stunbaton : 1-1 -> 1-2
- Shortsword : 1-6 -> 1-8, more crit range
- Gaffi stick : 1-8 -> 2-10
- Gamorrean battleaxe : 1-12 -> 2-12
- Wookie warblade : 1-10 -> 3-18

PISTOLS

- Blaster pistol : 1-6 -> 1-8, more crit range
- Heavy blaster : 1-8 -> 2-8
- Ion blaster : 1-4 -> 1-6, more crit damage
- Disruptor pistol : 1-4 -> 1-6, more crit range

RIFLES

- Blaster rifle : 1-8 -> 4-12
- Blaster carbine : 1-8 -> 2-16, reduced crit range
- ion rifle : 1-6 -> 2-12, more crit damage
- sonic rifle : 1-6 -> 2-8
- Disruptor rifle : 1-6 -> 2-12, more crit range
- Bowcaster : 1-10 -> 3-12, more crit damage

HEAVIES

- Repeating blaster : 1-8 -> 4-16
- Heavy repeating blaster : 1-10 -> 5-20

Disclaimer

These changes will also affect the ennemy units and will make the game harder, especially rifle/heavy weapon wielding enemies, so be advised. 

The changes will not apply to pre existing saves or modules visited, you need a new game.

Installation

Simply drop the baseitems.2da file to override, override existing file if needed.

This file should be compatible with anything, as long as it does not edit the same file.
