Really awesome tool, as far as I'm aware I got it working and everything installed correctly - the only issue being that when I launch KOTOR (either through the exe or Steam itself) it's a completely modless version. Any idea why this might be the case? I can see a bunch of files in Overrides and all my mods were unpacked to KOTORModSync v1.1.0b4>Mods.

This could really benefit from a download feature. It still requires the user to manually download every mod which is time consuming.

I'd love to implement this and i've been working with the deadlystream maintainers to make it happen for their end. Nexus I imagine requires a paid api and some of the files are on different hosts.

a download feature is quite literally the most requested feature and i hope to be able to implement this some day.

If you are seeing this as an end user you most likely need to whitelist KOTORModSync and HoloPatcher in your antivirus, or download the missing mods.

Sorry for late reply. Your download is corrupted, the archive is invalid.  Redownload them and try running KOTORModSync again.

Hey! Thank you for this amazing tool. I'm trying to use it but I keep having this issue, when I press Pre-Install Validation (all the mods are downloaded):

Looks like one of the archives you downloaded is corrupted. 'Failed to locate the zip header' probably means it couldn't validate it was a zip file. If you turn on 'verbose logging' it'll tell you exactly which mod you need to redownload.

hi! i get an error when im trying to use this, when i press "start an install" (after having loaded the file and checked the mods and setting directories) i get the following error: some components failed to indivudaully validate. and then there are lots of red error lines on the console saying missing required files for extract (name of a zip a file).

edit; nvm it was my fault

No worries at all. Probably one of the largest complaints is the feedback the installer gives you is somewhat difficult to read. Has been fixed in the next version.

Does this work with steam? I'm trying to set the directory but the .exe doesn't show up when I'm trying to set the path. It shows up fine when I just search for it in the file explorer but not when I try to set the directory.

    Nevermind! I misunderstood the prompts

Yeah, perhaps I could make the prompts more clear. Glad you figured it out though.
