there is no need to download anything just read the description , this works for both kotor 1 and 2, and if you had issues with crashing on quicksave , this fix should take care of that as well

I went to play kotor 1 again and run into the issue with being stuck in combat very often and having to reload the game for it to go away , after searching online and finding that turning v-sync on fixed the issue for some but not for some (including me) ,

I figured it was actually an issue with the frame rate of the game so while turning on v-sync on screens that are 60hz or 75hz will fix the issue for those who run lower RR screens ,
however it will not fix the issue for those with high RR screens and they will have to limit the fps to 60 or 75hz ,

now you can do this with either running the game full screen and setting the ingame resolution with refresh rates stated above (this will make have it so you have  to wait a bit when alt-tabing ) or just limit the refresh rates in riva tuner statistics server to 60 or 75hz , or use their respective gpu driver control panels to limit the fps

reason I am posting that it gave me headache and I hope to help anyone who might run into the same issue,
now I have not tested higher RR than 75hz but I remember when setting the game resolution in unmodded game the limit was 75

also reason I am posting here is that people might be looking here for the solution in form of a mod
