Please provide an exact example of entering cheats.

    I enter:

    g_i_crossguard

    g i crossguard

    give_g_i_crossguard

    give g i crossguard

And no option is correct. What am I doing wrong????

    I have a mod request.

Was wondering if Sith specter could make a new vanilla lightsaber overhaul.

I don't like crazy 34 version, not for me. His beam shapes look weird. There must be something more that can be made for both k1 and k2.

I enjoy the clone wars tv series, and tales of the jedi, for reference.

I'm just looking for something that makes a real improvement. Could you possibly send me some blade textures, that you might be using? Your cross guard beams look very uniform, slender, and not crooked like bio wares lol.

seems like the mod sometimes simply does not function. have zero clue why, if you attempt to install it and nothing functions. and any attempt to cheat any of the items into the game just gives you a blank item with a grenade icon you are just screwed. mod wont ever work for you, outside of a potential fresh install.

and no, a manual install doesnt fix anything. anyway, if you're having this problem just move on.

I've never really understood how it's possible to wield a crossguard lightsaber, especially two-handed, without the crossguard blades being more of a danger to your own wrists and forearms than to the enemy. Bad design. No wonder the Jedi stopped using them.

To my mind, if the purpose is to stop an opponent's blade sliding down your own and cutting off your hands, the crossguard blades should be in a V shape pointing upwards. That way, they'd be much less of a danger to yourself, as they would always be pointing away from your wrists, no matter how you were holding the hilt. Also, the 'V' blades, together with the main blade, could be used to trap an enemy's blade, and twist his weapon out of his hands, thus disarming him.

Anyway, it's a great mod, very well done! But I won't be using it myself.

Well Medieval knights managed just fine despite having cross-guards on their swords, and most (but not all) crossguards were much longer than the things seen on Ren's saber. Then factor in the Jedi/Saber/Force training I really don't see an issue, if anything the guard would be useful since it would prevent an opponent sliding their saber down yours and cutting your hands off, something we often see happen in SW.

The "V-blade", or Forked Lightsaber, you propose was actually a thing in the EU/Legends, (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Crossguard_lightsaber/Legends) otherwise known as the canon in which KotOR takes place. The issue of the blades comes down to the way the wrist moves when using the weapon. Medieval crossguards weren't composed of plasma that can melt through solid metal and remove limbs as easily as a lightsaber can. Hand protection should not be able to cause you to lose your hand. The criticism of the design is valid, in addition to the fact that the crossguard blades have an exposed emitter, which, unless composed of phrik/cortosis/beskar/some other lightsaber resistant material, would serve no actual purpose.

The cross-guard on a lightsaber isn't used like a real sword, neither is any part of a lightsaber. Even the blade isn't enough like a solid metal sword. It's much more dangerous. It totally makes sense for a Sith to use a cross-guard saber, what with how proud they can be. They'd literally alter their fighting style just for that extra menace.

This looks awesome! Now all we need is a mod to get Kylo Ren's mask and armour and this would be the perfect mod to accompany it. Well done.

I think we just need more saber types, why do we always get the plain ones in these games. the cross guard saber is nowhere near as stupid as the saber whip I'm sure most would agree

lol for realz. cross-guards sabers feel really dangerous to use, even more so than sabers are already, but iz cool, because it looks kewl. Saber whips and these helicopter-looking sabers and spear-ass sabers just look ridiculous, but they all the rage in some circles.

Having T3 give the option is honestly what sold me on this mod, fr fr. I need at least a little something special to make myself believe I'm going and making one of these bishes. Thank u so much!

So, having an issue where T3 doesn't give me the option to combine the emitter and a crystal. I have 2 emitters and a TON of spare color crystals, so I am not sure what the issue is.

OKAY I finally figured out what I was doing wrong with the Override folders. SO, I was just moving the crossgrd sabers override folder as a whole into SWKOTOR override folder. INSTEAD, move the whole folder over but this time click the crossgrds override folder, copy the files, back out and then paste them into KOTORs override file and then remove the crssgrd saber folder keeping all its files in the Kotor override folder. I hope this makes sense to people. This should fix other mods that also require override folder stuff. Cheers!

how difficult would it be to add this mod to kotor 2? would it just need some name editing or a full remake?
