Thank you! I have a minor coordination disability that makes swoop racing miserable for me so I've always skipped it after Taris - with this mod I just got to be Telos champion <3
Really fun to get some new content for my current playthrough, very much appreciated! Works great on my ipad!
20 years ago my reflexes definitely were better as I could finish the unmodded version, but tonight I spent about 3 hours (!) on races on Telos, trying to beat last half of the second to win. You can't imagine how happy I am after I've found your mod :)
Yeah, it's still a nice little addition to KotOR 2, I can confirm too, so thanks! :D
I fine with the card game, and the little challenge in fights, etc. but I mainly into the story and I definitely don't want to waste significant time on this swoop races to try again and again hundreds of times. XD
Late reply, but at a guess you installed the mod wrong. The lyt files go in override and the mod files go in modules. This mod is not vortex compatible
Vortex doesn't understand to put the .mod files in the Materials folder, and puts everything in the Override folder. I fixed that by separating the files into the correct folders inside the ZIP archive so that Vortex doesn't make that mistake.
For anyone who want to mod this for android go to Android/data/com.aspyr.swkotor2/files create two folder name override and modules extract the lyt file to override and mod file to modules
Just wanted to say thanks for this mod. I started playing again and I realized I had no memory of this game anymore, so everything being a surprise. I know people were talking about swoop racing being "too hard" but I chalked that up to internet hyperbole. Nope. The times on Telos are completely unreasonable and I spent 30 minutes trying to get the 41:27 the "proper" way before I decided to say the hell with it and get this mod.
Even WITH this mod I only beat that record by like .90 of a second. I wish the TSLRCM adjusted those ridiculous times. They really mucked up swoop racing in the game. I'm all for having jumps and whatnot but the boost pads are in bad spots and the jump is extremely floaty, then add those unreasonable times they probably used from a tester who played those races for hundreds of thousands of hours.
After a lot of struggle and help from this weird user comment, i made it run on android
funny thing is: after i installed a mod, right freaking after, controls became normal! this is annoying as hell because i used the mod to bypass s#*! control on mobile port
for a mod itself: works pretty good, just use modules and override

Again, thanks again for the mod!
