I honestly never had a problem with that minigame; except that one time when it crushed my game. It's really not that hard if you just think about how you go about it.
The first time I tried KOTOR, I was not expecting the game to suddenly force me into a dog fight after all the trouble I went through just to get off the first planet. After two unskippable cut scenes, I find myself seated inside a turret with more blind spots than a semi truck with all the handling of a shopping cart with a broken wheel that you always seem to get when you go shopping. I find myself facing off against half a dozen or so highly mobile, heavily armed, and heavily armored enemy fighters and am somehow expected to gun them all down with all the fire power and firing rate of an old musket. Not to mention the fact that half the time I find myself nearly blinded by a painfully glaringly bright star that makes aiming at moving targets all the more unnecessarily difficult. Oh, and add to this pile of terrible game design content is the fact that at no time am I allowed to save the game, meaning failure results in my having to wait through another one of Malek's "Look at me being so evil because I'm evil. Gaze upon me and my Darth Vader complex." moments.
I had to stop by to say that I cannot thank you enough. Without going into details, without this mod, I would not have been able to continue on the journey in this game.
