I just wish someone simply edited this quest out, so that it wouldn't provide ANY points light or dark side without tinkering dialogue or altering anything in any way...besides i don't like using TSL patcher, it often ruins my game and messes up my mods...i preffer installing all my mods via "override folder" method...from where i can always simply remove them any time...
it's good in theory but in practice you're saving criminals for light side points, it makes no sense logically or thematically. Killing them likewise shouldn't give either light or dark side because it's not necessarily an act of dark impulse nor is it a display of mercy. I think the better play would just have been to take out the alignment shifts altogether since both light and dark side want to do the quests in the same way.
download a mod like K1R (the restoration mod) that has a dialog.tlk file in the zip folder. You can then make a folder named KOTOR and place it in there. Any mods that use the tsl patcher to install should work. I did it and was able to install the K1R (which is where I got the file from) and BoS mods without a problem.
If I may, while I really love this, I think it would be better if it gave you no alignment point, instead of Light. It feels cheating when I'm getting all these free LS points, and the xp, and the rewards.
I just installed this mod, and I'm having trouble sparing Lorgal, the prisoner held in the Republic prison. The only dialogue option I get is "I don't want to kill you, but there others out there who do. People who can get in here through an energy cage."
After selecting that, Lorgal just talks, but nothing further happens. What do I do next?
