MOD DESCRIPTION:
After playing on Impossible difficulty for a bit added by the K1 RCM I came to
very much value the Force Power buffs like Valor and the Aura line of
powers, on lower difficulties they aren't really needed and their
horribly short duration made them more trouble than they were worth.
Trying to buff before running into a fight and by the time I get through
a 1-2 combat rounds those buffs have already fallen off(and Bastilla
gets one shot by a Wraid lol) was kind of getting to me.
I couldn't find any mod addressing this specifically for K1, so after many
hours of trying to figure out what files handle the normal force powers
and how to compile them and dealing with strange behavior with
kotortool I present this mod. The speed, valor and aura line of powers
have been extended to a duration of 3 minutes. If anybody would like it
to be only buffed to a minute instead I can upload another version. It
doesn't feel cheaty to me personally but I can see how others could view
it differently.
I also included an optional file that I made in my tweaking that removes the scaling cap on Drain Life/Shock powers so
they cap at 20 levels worth of damage instead of 10. I found it kind of
dumb that my consular would get better damage whacking things with her
lightsabers when buffed with master speed than actually trying to deal
AoE damage with Force Lightning/Storm. Drain hitting for a maximum of
40, when basic enemies hit harder than that per round and when I have a
HP pool of 200-300 is a drop in a bucket. Be warned that this is
probably overpowered without a difficulty increaser mod!
This mod will conflict with any other mod that has: k_sp1_generic.nss, k_sp1_generic.ncs, k_inc_force.nss

Answer: This doesn't mean much, I used this mod myself with the K1 RC mod. Other mods that change force powers; you're going to have issues. By that I mean some things will work, others wont.
If you overwrite the file this mod will take effect, but you lose out on whatever changes the mod you are overwriting would have.
FAQ: This mod doesn't apply to party members casting the same force powers? WDID?
Answer: I never accounted for that when I made this mod originally. As I said earlier in the desc, I'm probably going to update this mod to fix said issues. Let's be real, you probably play the game with the same frequency I do to relive old memories.
