About this mod
Thanks to the great Mod framework and F2 Console, it's now easy to make a NewGame+ in Amalure.

Requirement
- Mod Framework by kc0rtez
- Level scaling by kc0rtez - to scale the game to your level.
- F2 Console by weaaddar - to run the script.
Installation
- copy the file into the Mods directory (like for Level scaling and F2 console)
- create a new character
- press F2 after all the starting cinematic
- copy-past :
run('mods\\NewGamePlus.lua')
- enjoy !!
Informations
In the file as a comment, I have a few command to add enough free skill point to max all skill. Those point will disappear if you fateweave to respec. It's exactly the same than using the Cheatmenu().
There's also the command for level 50 white item
Bug and strange behaviour
I didn't found any real bug specifically to this script
In zone that have a level cap lower than 41 normally, loot are strange for potions :
- a lot of Phasewalk and Magic Amplification
- mostly HP/mana potion will be Minor potion and a few Greater.
- some Regen potion
- no other potion.
Informations
Crafting is your main enemies. You can break the game. Even no prefect crafted gear can result in 10k+ with any spell.
Vendors are second to the list. If you began to sell a few things, you will get rich. I was able to get more than 1 millions before finishing all Gorhart quest.
The Special Delivery Chest is bad. Open then Close directly. You get 2 Twist of Fate and the marker is removed from the map. Forget about it. Getting good gear from the start will kill all the fun (like crafting).
Ideas
The main idea of this mod is to rediscover the game in a new way. So why not adding some challenge by adding some rules.
Here's a few idea to make your one's challenges (feel free to propose new one's) :
- No crafting or No potions
- Self found only / No vendors (except for a few Lockpick at start)
- No Reckoning mode. No fateshifting Krudoc or Thresh. (a visit to Ysa prison is the best way to test it)
- No Lodestone
- The Fateless One (aka no Destinies)
- ability restriction (like no level 5 spell as a Sorcerer)
- strange build
- Hardcore. Death = new character.
- etc
Level 50 NG+
I think the real NG+ should be level 50 but there's a few limitation.
The main quest need to be finished to start the main start Fatesworn and unlock the level 50. I didn't find any way to by-pass this.
The level scaling might break the game. I have already some strange things at level 40. It will need a lot of test and even more security save.Comment,
