Works without any issues on the latest GOG version 1.10 (cs: 15032 I think; on Windows 7 Pro) with Fatesworn DLC.
As user Bassywassy27 mentioned, it has a 100% chance to give 4 components and all are random. So, most times you get basic ones and sometimes you get the good core ones. I have gotten rarer components from salvaging green and blue items. Don't recall if set items (yellow) gave anything special. Purple rarely gave me special ones, though tbh, I didn't salvage too many. There are some that only give 1 component, not sure why, but thankfully it affects a few items.
I'll do some more tests, but I think it's possible to get anything based on the item specifically, though probably more weighted towards getting basic components than rare ones, which makes sense. So for example, I have gotten 4 steel core components from salvaging a steel item, though most times I get 1 or 2 and the rest are basic components.
P.S. I like the mod, but if salvaging really bothers you, you can always use CE. =P
As someone mentioned already, it really doesn't give you all components, just multiplies the shitty default ones you'd get most often. Really no point in using it anymore
Solid mod, but does need some clarification. 100% chance on all parts to be salvaged doesn't always give you those parts, because the game only rewards you 4 parts per salvage, and the weapon/armor may contain more. This mod 'does' force that you always get 4 salvage rewards.
There's no guarantee on getting 4 difference salvage rewards. You may get 2 bindings, 1 grip, and one flawless part. Or the part that you're looking for may still not appear cause you get 2 hilts and 2 rivets or whatever. So the mod doesn't nullify safescumming.
Then there's of course the fact that (especially damage mods on weapons/armor) can often not be salvaged.
Still the mod makes the entire salvaging system a lot more comfortable, so thank you for that. :D
(P.S. I don't have Fatesworn yet, I'll let you hear if I notice anything there.)
Should this mod still be working? I keep getting basic materials from salvaging. Even though they're the same versions, I redownloaded and installed the framework and mod- no dice! Should it look like below? Because that does not match the screenshot in "Images".

Just started playing again after a year or so and this mod is very important for my OCD (much reloading to get good salvages). Thanks!
Yeah, that's what I am seeing as well. Same here, only basic materials for me. Edit: actually, it's not only that. I also can't load quicksaves anymore (although that's likely Mod Framework's fault and not this mod's).
Versions 1-1.3 had bugs that caused that and since that was not the plan for this specific mod, i decided to clear the files to avoid confusion and unintended side-effects. But don't worry, if it's the case that you want that behavior, i plan on releasing a mod specifically for the loot
so you aid you were gonna release a mod reguarding loot drops, will that be out any time cause that sounds cool,my biggest problem with the game is that theres so much armor in it and its not possable to get everything in the game without cheating
you can happen to get 4 times the core component (while you only need 1 or 2 generally) and then 0 of the good component you actually wanted (like 30% extra dmg) or multiple of random low grade components which in general makes the random salvaging worse
with this mod you're supposed to get the actual components that are responsible for the items bonus stats so you can actually target what you want to salavage (and forge with afterwards) and so you don't have to waste minutes or hours on F5-F9ing to get what you want
edit: it's also not as cheaty when you can't save/load abuse till you get the OP components 4 times
Well I don't currently have any mods installed, and it's a fresh install on a new pc and I am often getting 2 or 3 of the same component when salvaging. Also at times I get nothing, but if it's a piece I know I will want I save first and if I get nothing I simple reload until I get what I want.
It's been too long since I last played this on my old pc so I can't remember if I was getting 2 or 3 of components then or not but this could just be due to the re-release of the game.... I don't know, but I am experiencing what you described even without this mod so I am rather tempted to try it anyway..
I am getting the same thing. Yes, this started happening after the dlc update on my game also. It never gave 4 core components before the update. I really liked this mod because you were given all four different components so you didn't have to save, reload until you got the item you were salvaging for. Hopefully it isn't too hard to fix it and the modder has the time to do it.

Sorry for english

Thank you very much
I wish you a happy New Year
