do you plan to make more voice mods like this in the future? I'd love to see something like Vader's voice for Xemnas or General Grevious's voice for Xehanort.
This is hands down the best mod on the KH3 nexus. I think KH3's ending fell very flat because of the weird out of character voice lines they used for Master Xehanort but this mod totally redeemed it for me. I can no longer play KH3 without this installed, amazing work! Can't wait for Re:Mind to be included.
This mod effort is fantastic. I 100% applauded you for your creativity and I really hope you can continue to update this mod. Lenord Nemoy was my favorite Xehanort and I dreamed of him doing this game. If you need more clean files to brief the AI for something like Eleven labs, you can use this clip. It's all of Master Xehanort's lines from Dream Drop Distance from his speech with no background noise. Best of luck. Really can't wait to see this mod continue.
Thanks, Pallypots! I'm glad you're enjoying it. Thanks as well for the advice about that clip; I was actually using that exact one to train the AI at first, but luckily I was finally able to grab the isolated voice lines for all of BBS a few months ago, and that helped improve accuracy immensely.
Like I've written to a few others, I've been pretty busy recently and so the work on this project has taken a little bit of a backseat in terms of my time management, but I promise that I'm still chipping away at it whenever I have free moments.
After checking back in I am stunned to see how much work you have done since my comment in October. This mod is fantastic. You should be proud of your hard work. I beg you to finish the package by including the lines from Remind. This mod has become one of my favorites of all time and I plan on having it every time I play Kingdom Hearts 3!

My original goal was to make something that not only me but other big fans of the series could have to enjoy as a solid approximation of what KH3 might have been like before Nimoy's passing, even if it's not perfect and I could never truly replace the man or his talent. More than anything I just wanted the main antagonist to still feel like the same character we all loved to hate, y'know? Comments like yours definitely make me feel like those hours ended up being worth it outside of just improving my own playthroughs lol.

So that said, I've kind of been convinced it's worth spending some more time to really finish off the experience, and I will aim to start working on that (and hopefully get through it quickly) around mid to late March. Hope you'll come back and check it out around then, and that it'll live up to the hype!
Hey Harback247! Unfortunately, life just kind got very busy during the time I planned on working on this, and I have many other priorities. I haven't forgotten about the Re:Mind scenes, and I still intend to get it done when I have time, but I don't really have an exact ETA for when that will be right now, sadly. Hopefully you will check it out when I do get it finished, and I will do my best to make that sooner rather than later.
Will the same AI recordings for Xehanort's lines in the base game be used for Re:Mind? That would save lots of time, and all you have to do is AI his lines that are unique to Re:Mind.
I Like this a lot, It May have some AI voice Cracks and such but that Really Doesn't Matter anyway. Man, If Only We Had the Wayne Allwine Replacement for Mickey Mouse though, Just Wanna Hear Him in this Game So Badly. T-T I've Might've Said this on My Request before but, Just to Bring back the Memories of his Good Acting of King Mickey. Oh! And Also Scrooge McDuck Too.
Thanks Nathaniel! Glad you liked it. There's definitely some lines or moments that could be better, especially listening now after some time away from it, but at a certain point I kind of had to make peace with the fact that I'll never be able to perfectly replicate Nimoy's voice or performances, and just be okay with a pretty good approximation meant as a tribute to him and his iconic performance in this role.
In terms of other voice mods, I think is going to be the only one for me, even as the creator of this mod I still have some mixed feelings about the ethics of it and using AI like this in general. But maybe somebody else can make it happen for you. I'm definitely with you in missing Wayne Allwine, the character has never felt the same in the series since he passed.
I Really Appreciate that a lot, Although After I Uploaded that Kind of Request 4 Months Ago, I REALLY Feel Like it's Never going to Happen. However The First time I Uploaded a Request was just a Model Replacement with Air Soldier and It Actually Happen, I Was Very Happy when it was Uploaded. I Still gotta Have Patients no matter how long it takes, Usually It's a little Worrisome.
I watched through your example videos to see if I wanted to use this or not. A lot of AI voice replacements don't always turn out the best, but that's be expected of a burgeoning technology. I have to say I am absolutely FLOORED by the results! Some reads are marginally off, but on a whole this sounds amazing! I think you've convinced me to use it 100%.
I'm a big fan of Nimoy's even outside of KH as I grew up on Star Trek. Having him back in KH3 means the world to me, even if done with AI. This isn't to take anything away from Hauer or Llyod as they did good jobs (I personally lean more towards Lloyd since he emotes much more and sounds more like Nimoy, if perhaps because he once worked with him), but Xehanort will always be Nimoy to me.

Much appreciated Vaderesunborracho, I'm glad you like it! It seems there is definitely some interest in me finishing off the Re:Mind lines as well, so when I get some time (late March-ish maybe?) I will try to get to those as well and round the whole experience out.

I have seen some YouTube videos where Ansem's voice in some KH3 cutscenes has been replaced with Billy Zane already though, not sure if it's been turned into a full mod, but maybe in the future whoever made those videos will go ahead and do that? I believe there is at least a mod that replaces his battle dialogue in the game, so who knows.

Among the requests for more voice replacements from you, I'd like to just thank you for this mod. I'll always appreciate the replacement voice actors, but this is now a required mod for me every time I play. Even some of the AI line deliveries are really well spoken. Again thank you for this huge effort. Its not as simple as just telling AI to do it all again and you're done as some may think.
This is about the biggest compliment I could receive on a project like this, to have people feel it's good enough to replace the existing dialogue and a must-have for playthroughs, and that was really my goal from the start, to make something that good for people so thank you so much Makaro, I'm very grateful for the kind words. I did spend a lot of time on it over the course of kind of while, and while I know it's not completely perfect, and the perfectionist in me wants to keep improving it even more over time, I'm still glad to know for at least a few people the time spent already was worth it.

The reason I altered the dialogue is that some of that ending monologue is translated sort of poorly, and I've seen that lead to some confusion for a lot of people about Xehanort's motivations seeming different from the rest of the series. I personally thought changing it could help to clarify the original meaning better, and rather than try and rewrite any dialogue completely I tried to do that the best I could by changing as little as possible, in this case one word. I might look into figuring out how to change the subtitles to match in the future, because to be honest I don't really know how at the moment.

If I read the description right, this mod replaces all of the late Rutger Hauer's dialog lines in the base KH3 game with archived and AI audio of Leonard Nimoy, while leaving all of Christopher Lloyd's voice clips of Master Xehanort in ReMind intact. Now, I'm perfectly happy with the mod being like that, I just want to make sure I have it right.
Yep, that is correct! Although the in-game battle dialogue during Re:Mind and Limit Cut has been replaced, just nothing during the cutscenes right now, so hopefully that's not too jarring. Like I wrote about a little in the description, I may decide to jump back in and do the Re:Mind scenes at some point (in fact, some of them are even the exact same lines, so I would honestly just have to move some files around for those) but for now mostly due to lack of time and motivation I probably won't be tackling that for a little while.
