nice! it would be really cool if you could make it so that when you formchange into the shield form, it becomes just the chakram part without the blade. but great work regardless!
I wish I could but unfortunately I couldn't find a model in game for his charkram. It is possible to do something like that with a custom model but that is currently beyond my skill level at the moment but I'm hoping to learn more in the near future.
That's a really good idea, I haven't tried giving Sora any of Donald or Goofy weapons but I sure it works just the same. I may try it a bit later and upload another one. I personally liked the shield still being a keyblade and did that intentionally but I guess most of you guys feel it should still be some sort of shield haha
He uses them but its basically a reskin of his keyblade that and part of his moveset. Like when Yozora steal's Sora keyblade that version of Yozora's sword is inaccessible and not found anywhere in the game. The mod that was released a few days ago for Yozora's sword when he steals your keyblade was also a custom model and not pulled directly from the game.
I found this with a quick google search. It's a custom model of Axel's chakram: Axel's Chakrams - STLFinder Supposedly you just import the STL to blender then export it as an FBX to use in Unreal Engine.
This is a small nitpick and not really worth mentioning, but could you do something about the formchange being called Frying Pan? I realize you can't completely separate it from the original keyblade without doing a LOT of work, but something small like changing the name of the form from Frying Pan to something else would really help immersion I think.
I just downloaded your mod, and I'm very impressed with the results! If you could, would you please change his strike raid attack to Axel's throwing star? In case you're not sure what I mean. When Sora is in his frying pan form, the basic combo contains 2 strike raid animations. One when he attacks a target from far away, and the other is in the third hit of his basic combo. When the mod is turned on and the strike raid animation starts, the keyblade remains still while it is being thrown. I wondered if you can change that Animation model into Axel's throwing stars (I don't know what they are probably called.) If you can, I appreciate it. If not, I love the mod anyway! I just made a video reviewing your mod, and I will contact you when it is uploaded. Thank you for your content.
