Hi, I really like this mod, but I encountered an annoying bug.
Whenever I have the option to use prepare and retry on game over Soras level is shown as 0, all my ap are reduced to that level and so on. I'm not sure if a stay at that level when I start the fight again. :/
I tested this bug with a fresh save and only this mod enabled (used critical mode) and I was still able to reproduce it.

This happens with many mods that affect starting abilities. I don't know what causes it, but it is never permanent nor does it affect gameplay. Your stats/exp are never reset to zero during gameplay, despite what the retry screen will tell you.

So while this mod is amazing for what it does...

It seems to cause stutters and fps slowdowns, especially when you are in intense combat with lots of enemies.

I first noticed it in twilight town on the fight after the mansion, and have tested extensively with the mod enabled vs disabled.

I get very minimal frames dropped with it disabled, but with it enabled and in heavy combat ill drop down to around 30-45 when the AI use abilities.

    Running a 5800x3d / 6950 XT / 32 GB DDR4 C14 3800 RAM / 2TB Samsung 980 Pro SSD / @ 120 Hz vsync disabled (Might just be a high fps bug?)

It also conflicts with the Re:Mind Ability mod for those wondering.  For now I think I'll stick with Re:Mind Abilities, even though I like what this mod does better overall.

I have never had frame drops nor heard of anyone having slow downs (myself and others definitely have weaker setups than this). Are you playing on custom maps or vanilla maps?

I see it says that most of the changes works with the existing save files, may I know what actually does not works if I used existing save files?

Starting abilities for Donald and Goofy will be incorrect, so you will end up with a couple duplicates of abilities (which the duplicates won't affect anything gameplay wise).

Just to be sure, you have the install location listed as just /paks in your instructions, rather than /paks/~mods/
That is intentional right? Just making sure so I can install this bad boy properly.

It doesn't matter honestly. Most mods won't conflict with this mod, but if you do want something to load after this mod, then you would put that mod in ~mods, as ~mods loads second.

Around mid-game of my critical run, I turned this off because it didn't feel very challenging. As it turns out, vanilla critical isn't very challenging either.

But holy hell Sora is a benchwarmer in the fight Against Xehanort when I'm playing as Kairi. Sora dies two seconds into the fight and Kairi's left to fight Xehanort alone. I turned this off in fear of it being too OP, but I swallowed my pride and reinstalled this mod and to my surprise it's fairly balanced. I'm still dying to ReMind Xehanort which is a good thing, the challenge is still there, but I don't have to go through mental gymnastics to figure out why Sora's such a little twig b&@*$ when I'm not controlling him. He might as well not be in the battle.

Thanks so much for making this man, It's so much more immersive this way.

Thanks! The problem with kh3 vanilla is that the regular heartless fights are too easy/squishy, so yeah, this mod does make it feel easy when you have up to 4 ai in the battle actually doing damage, but that also makes you forget how easy the random heartless battles are when you include formchanges and grand magic (or even ga magic).

Mickey's dual guard doesn't seem to work with the project equinox mod. Which is really tragic since this is easily the best thing for that mod.

Equinox uses Sora's pawn, not Riku's. Which means that they have an animation that is overwriting mine for guard. I have a feeling it's probably incompatible.

This mod is already incredible but I was curious if it would be possible to get the team up reaction commands for the different groups to appear if they're in the same party. For example Sora and Mickey's Faith Volley, Aqua and Ven's Icy Slider, and the Days Trio's Thinking of You.

Using the mod in tandem with the Coliseum mod is a blast and it would be cool to have the team up attacks show up as well.

Awesome! Can you make Kairi and Riku be able to do dual guard as well? So that when Kairi, Sora, and Riku are together they can do the trio guard.
