Probably a stupid question but I'm not used to big mods like these When you say it's incompatible with character swap mods, does that include outfit mods too? (Like for example, changing the color of Sora's clothes or changing Kairi's attire, etc, without changing the character itself or their animations)
Awesome mod! I thoroughly enjoy using it. One error I am noticing, however, is when I fight against Saix (both data and story version) with either Sora DFOKP/DFOBV (with permalight beams) or Roxas, I will experience a strange crash in the middle of fighting him. I tested it with only AEO and PermaLightBeam installed to test (with both characters), and it still happens consistently. I also tried it with just AEO and fought him as Roxas, and it still happens. The error message just says "fatal error" and as far as I know, this does not occur against any other opponent.
This is a known crash (supposedly rare, but maybe a bit stubborn for some) that's noted in Known Issues in the desc. So I'll set your bug report as a known issue.
It's caused by the bosses' interactions with Light Beams. Saix is one of the, if not the boss most prone to crashing. Sadly, the only way to fix it is to remove DFOKP/DFOBV from Modloader. The optional PoweredUpDoubleForm pak will work perfectly though!
I haven't "dissected" ReMember to exactly see what the overlapping files are, but I * think * it should be mostly ok if you take out the RandomizedAnimations, BaseAnimations and SecondFormAnimations paks.
When using the perma light beams I can't use items in the air while in Double form OBV. Sora enters an inactive state where you can't do anything. It works with double form OKP. The only mods I have active are the animation enhancement and the perma light beam paks.
This is still happening with the latest update. Like I said the only paks I have active are the animation enhacement and perma light beams. The way to reproduce it is just to use an item in the air while in Double Form OBV. Double form OKP works fine.
Hey, so I have confirmed this was indeed an issue. I had this fixed in my dev build, but never ended up including it in the mod updates. Really sorry for the confusion!
I've just uploaded a new patch. As a small compensation, it includes a couple features meant for the next update! (Check "What's New" in the desc)
Hello, I know it's by design that you made Ultimate Form's Shotlock consume all FP, but I kinda like how OP it was in the vanilla game. It helped me a lot in level grinding with the battegates. Maybe you could have an add-on (like the Perma Light Barrage one) that re-enables it to not consume the entire gauge?
I could just remove the pak for ultimate form but that would also remove all the other cool features you added.
Regardless, this mod is really amazing. Absolutely enjoyed playing with it. Tks for your hard work.
I made that change thouroughly because as you say, it was way too OP. Besides, I wouldn't like to bloat the file page with too many alternative paks. On the other hand, notice that landing Finish restores all resources including FP, so I'd say we're even!
Oof yeah it's a huge conflict for now. I know for a fact lots and lots of files conflict, but I don't really know how that'll affect the Light edition experience. You can try to load Animation Overhaul after LvD, but I wouldn't recommend it, and expect lots of issues to arise!
unfort but thanks for the heads up from the future. I was loking for some help with this exact question. I wish we could use the crowns from that mod, the item overhaul is literally the biggest thing I wish was remade/ported but your work with this overhaul def makes it worth having

However if the damage really is "way too much", there are probably attack data conflicts with other moveset mods.
