This one, however, creates a crazy flickering or shimmering of textures inside the forests. I tried all various settings of Volumetric Effects in the game options, DLSS on/off etc but it was always flickering like crazy. Had to delete it, sadly.
I use all of your KCD/KCD2 mods and love them, however this mod just adds too much shimmering with foliage/trees for me to be able to use it unfortunately. I have a 4080, 0 sharpness in game using DLSS [Quality and Native settings both had the same issue].
Sorry to say but I was waiting for an update of this mod to fix the shimmering of trees in 1080p but it didn't resolved the issue it still happens and even after setting volumetric effects detail to experimental. Any Suggestion will be much appreciated My GPU RX6600
Yes I play with FSR with Native AA with No sharpening at all , But i tried with no fsr and on native resolution with every anti aliasing setting even on SMAA2Tx nothing works and i think this happens with Every mod of yours like landscape texture overhaul that's why i am unable to use any of your mods , I tries Uninstalling and Reinstalling the game multiple times with all file deleted from my PC still no chance.
Wow, you've actually done a big favor for me by reminding me why this happens... I probably don't face this issue because I play at a higher resolution. But now I know exactly what's causing it. I'm starting with the vegetation, and I want you to let me know if it's fixed once I update it. Deal? KUDOS!
Deal I will tell you whenever you drop the update and I have stopped my KCD 2 progress, I was really thinking you to tell about this but then I thought it won't be any help to u but then I realized I should mention this. Thank You for considering my problem . I am very Grateful
I'm able to fix most issues for AMD cards, but this mod will be a challenge. The problem seems to be specific to certain AMD models, and I still have no idea why that is. I appreciate your patience, and I'll keep working on it!
Hello, sir. Thanks for the great mod. Can you tell me how to improve the quality of the first line of HLod trees? Maybe your mod could do it? The transition from render trees to HLod trees is too obvious - is there a way to improve the HLod so that this transition would look less noticeable? I'm not sure if I'm using the term HLod correctly, but I'm not very good at it, but I hope you get the idea.
I know that you can increase the last value in the command "wh_e_HLodVegetationSwitchingDistances=12000 8000 6000 600 ", instead of 600 put 800 and this will make the transition boundary further, but this is too critical for performance in my case.
When zooming in on the HLOD view, the trees become overgrown with more detail, while at a normal viewing angle they blend into a homogeneous mass. Is it possible to make the HLOD trees look forcibly detailed as when zoomed in?
Yes, I understand everything you wrote. I can create custom LODs, and that was actually part of my plan for this mod. I think Iβll be able to fix this in the next update without any performance loss.
Is it possible to have a version with tree trunk textures but without improving the foliage? I really liked the textures, but the foliage significantly reduces my FPS..
I can't recall ever actually taking the time to make a comment on a mod. But I have to say Checker.......I'm coming back for a 2nd playthrough already and I just downloaded all of your mods and my wife literally came into my office to make sure I'm ok. I'm out here giggling like a nerding out child.
THIS. LOOKS. ABSOLUTELY. AMAZING. this is a completely different game.....the minimalized HUD just to top it off, has everything looking, entirely different....I don't even know what game I'm playing, this isn't KCD2....this is KCD3. Absolutely outstanding.
Wow, this absolutely made my day! π Hearing that my mods transformed your experience like this is exactly why I do this. The fact that your wife had to check on you because you were geeking out so much is just priceless! π€£ Enjoy your second playthrough, and if you ever have any feedback or ideas, feel free to share. Thanks again for the amazing comment! It really means a lot. π
Beautiful, vibrant, almost breathtaking, but sadly for me personally it came at the cost of 30fps. (recommended mid version) I'll check out Lite soon. I have all your other mods installed and get 70+fps on ultra present with lowered shadows, but 45fps with this mod. I'll be watching though!
