I couldnt gert this this to work. I am not new to reshade so I really dont get why it didnt work. I downloaded the files and downloaded 6.4.0 with addon support. Even though I dont get why if during installation we dont tell it any add on to add. But when I load the game I get reshade to open but it does nothing.
After some attempts, I managed to get it to show up in the ReShade options, but it doesn't change anything in-game when I switch it on and off. I wish you would create an official guide for installation.
Yeah, the mod works since I can see the contrast now compared to before. But the Reshade settings don't do anything, can't even toggle the HDR on/off with it.
When the mod is on all the blacks are crushed, i tried reinstalling and mixing and matching settings all day but couldn't get it to look good, if anyone has any suggestions i'm happy to hear them
This issue is present in the vanilla game as well. One method that could help is installing the global illumination mod on nexus and setting global illumination in game settings to ultra which fixes the crushed blacks and makes light behave more realistically. It has also removed any shadow flickering for me as well.
for the Alienware AW3423DWF monitor I made the following slight adjustments for a more balanced image with the Enhanced Global Illumination and Lighting mod:
Great mod, however, I am having terrible color banding on fine gradients e.g. blue skies, it looks like 6-bit not 10-bit. And of course, I am in 10-bit RGB mode, HDR enabled. No other mods installed. Please advise.
@RomarioGee - Does it work for you without Puredark? I'm using latest Nvidia driver today and latest game update 1.2.4 and I can't even get reno hdr to work now. Does this work for you without PD stuff?
Hey Quacker. I have just sorted it out even without puredark (i have seen your comment there also) so don't need to pay for patreon. You will need optiscaler mod. I had 2 hours yesterday to tweak and its great sofar (I am on 4090...maxed out my 4k 144hz...had ~105 before that). Folow this dude's video on optiscaler part but only the installation and setup ingame (I didn't needed the hud part) https://youtu.be/KlhtrR12FlI?si=mWGidWXtFJzwTL18. The accent is horrendous but persevere :D To enable it woth renoxd you need to rename reshades dxgi to ReShade64.dll and adjust it in optiscaler. ini. It's literal in instalattion instructions https://github.com/cdozdil/OptiScaler...just ctrlf for ReShade64.dll. And it's all working now. P.S. disable rtss if you are using it. Just use nvidia analiser P.S.S. I actually haven't updated yet the game or the drivers. So hopefully it will work for you

MAKE SURE TO USE THE ATTACHED CUSTOM RESHADEKCD2SwapChainFix.addon64 is now included, use with official reshade (Courtesy of PureDark)HDR
- download lilium Dec 22, 2024 files from https://github.com/EndlesslyFlowering/ReShade_HDR_shaders/releases
- unpack them inside the reshade-shaders folder in the kingdomecome.exe folder
- unpack the renodx next to kingdomecome.exe.

ReShade ver 6.5.1
Any tips of what might be wrong?
I installed 6.4 and am getting the same errors... What version should I use?
for the Alienware AW3423DWF monitor I made the following slight adjustments for a more balanced image with the Enhanced Global Illumination and Lighting mod:
Exposure 1,00
Highlights 46
Shadows 48
Contrast 50
Saturation 51
Highlight Saturation 46
Blowout 0 (default)
Flare 0 (default)
Bloom 100 (default)
Thanks.
