could u make a mod that make polearm strike faster,or make them cause more sta damge to enemy ,or make sta restore slower when polearm success give a hit. (or mix these three request together)
I knew you would fix the awful polearm in the sequel! they are just worse than the one from the previous game. I think the owner of warhorse studio have a problem with polearms it would explain the weirdness of making dialogues and an almost fully functional for them in the previous game and then turning them off. The way they put them in this game is so weird too, really slow, only 4 combos, can be blocked a dude with a saber with one hand only. It's like they are all griffin from berserk. Thank you for your previous mod "polearm unleashed" by the way.
Dev of Warhorse are likely a bunch of sword fanboys, and they once got owned by a polearm wielder in their local medieval fight club. These ironic scenes we see in KD2 are likely direct projection of their twisted dream, the only place where they and their toothpicks stand a chance to a polearm.
i agree with you i suspected something like that from the first game. In the second game "tomcat" (the dude who can teach you masterstrike in the nomad village) straight up state the sword are superior to all others weapons. And the fact is they made it so sword are the most useful weapons against the strongers enemies who spam perfect block and riposte due to masterstrike hard countering the riposte. You can just bait them almost constantly into theirs perfect riposte spam and just masterstrike them, which lead me to the next thing: that some of those stronger enemies don't wear facial protections, meaning sword masterstrike to the face take them down very quickly.
In the others hands, all others weapons murder/defeat them very slowly, even the buffed polearms from machinegod mods are not that quick at taking them downs.
