Put the downloaded user.cfg file in the KCD2 directory. Start the game with devmode ("-devmode +exec user.cfg").
Please read through ALL commands carefully and adjust the values wherever you feel it's necessary or more suitable for your setup.
You MUST edit the first command category in the CFG file to match your system.
Some commands come down to personal preference and are therefore subjective (e.g., rain, sharpening, fog, etc.).
You can adjust the commands live during gameplay within the ingame console if you want to tweak further or encounter visual issues.
I recommend using CVar Overrider Mod, as the game can override certain commands on its own.
I recommend using Lossless Scaling (Steam), PureDark (Patreon) or OptiScaler (Mod), as KCD2 does not provide native frame generation. You can actually stack Lossless Scaling and PureDark together, and they are also compatible with ReShade.
Some mods might be incompatible (e.g., Dynamic Fog Mod - great mod, but tampers with r_VolumetricFogSunlightcorrection, which can cause flickering).
Please consider using google/gpt before posting a question. ("How do I use ReShade?" - "Which commands should I adjust to match my PC speccs?")
