I have retextured my bollock dagger and mercenary sword, and now has a better look and feel ( not like a plastic toy anymore ), I will upload it soon.

I am also making sword pack with 4 more swords and daggers; if you have a sword request, feel free to drop me a message just prepare pictures and documentations

    Cheers!

Brilliant work, it looks really good.

How about a pollaxe (or poleaxe)? Ideal weapon against guys in full plate armour!

    Something like these:

and Wallace Collection, European Armour I, Nos. A925 and A926

Sup! I am planning on adding more weapons, such as a new bolder halberd and bardiche!
I'll start modelling it as soon as I'm done adding a cast iron pan (yes I made one) mace

The command to add the sword is not working for me, and yes, I'm running the game on devmode. Other than that, it's be nice if you managed to add the sword to merchants, so we could buy them in-world instead of using the console (I mean, I've used the console to get a particular item once or twice for completists reasons, but it sorta breaks the inmersion and I would prefer it the other way).

So I haven't had the the opportunity to try out the sword, therefore can't really comment on it. I will say, however, that type XVI and XVIa are two of my favourite types of swords -what a happy coincidence!- and would like to thank you for your time and affert to make this mod and I hope to see more of your work in the future.

Thanks a lot! Do you receive any errors when you try to use the command? Working on adding in onto the game shops now, will upload with the new textures with gloss and reflection asap

That's great! I also love the designs of the XVI

It says "Warning, invalid command" or some such. Anyway, I'll download the updated version and see if I can get a hold of the sword in a shop.

very stupid of me to forgot to change the instructions in using the command, use "add_mercenary_sword" instead and tell me if it works

Thanks, the command works now. However, the names displayed in the inventory is something along the line of "@_ui_mercenary_sword". I'm guessing some stuff on the xml is either incorrect or not loading properly.
Otherwise, the t xtures could be better. I'm running the game not on highest settings though, but still the sword kinda looks like a plastic toy. That being said, I appreciate the time and effort you put in your mod and would like to encourage you to continue modding. Please take my criticisms as they are meant to be: constructive. I don't dream this game will ever come even close to Skyrim regarding the size of the modding community, but I sincerely appreciate you guys adding content to the game. and I hope to see more people doing this kind of work.
And, who knows? maybe somedya I'd try my hand at it too, even though I wouldn't know where to start.

Nice Work. Glad to see someone take the time to work on stuff like this. I like to see realistic stuff like this. I would love to see a wide variety of daggers. For swords I would like to see another version of the Noble Sword with different styles of hilts. The Madgeburg Longsword I would like to rid of the green gem and replace to pummel on the hilt with something like a eagle stamped upon it.

Thanks mate! I actually do also wished that there were more daggers and in which is why I am going to add more, (already have a bollock dagger but haven't released it yet and currently working on a gothic dagger ).

There is another modder working on a cool realistic noble sword which is "Joyeuse" would be neat. I too hated the green gem on the magdeburg sword (well im not a fan of fancy swords in the first place, I prefer rustic and proper swords)

In any case, stay tuned since I have more swords coming :D

Would be nice to have a rapier mod, except rapiers are after the 15th century...

But their use as a stabbing weapon rather than slashing would be handy if they have low weight to high stab damage but low defense.

Also odd we don't have greatswords in this game with slower swings but way heavier hits so instead of perfect block, dodging would be necessary to evade them.

Attack animations are locked behind the core combat mechanics meaning you can't have weapons that have varied swing speeds either (like rapiers that has fast stabs).

I'm currently working on a weapon pack, already got 2 swords and 1 bollock dagger, I can add a rapier if you want to, would even name it from yours hahah.

Unfortunately we don't have that much animations for a better combat system that has weapons who relies on their design with its pros and cons
everything that we have is set onto a specific combat system and I don't know if we are capable of making our own animations.

fun fact though, we have dagger combat animations in the modding tool; complete with idle, hit and even ripostes from different opponents
perhaps in the future we will be able to implement it
