      Take it from me, I've gone down the rabbit hole on this one:

      Any mod or combination of mods can cause the dog to get stuck or lost on geometry at a certain point in the quest "Awakening", early in the game. It can also happen at any point after that and before you "get" the dog. Only way to fix it is to load an old save where the dog exists, or start over. Sorry to say.

      Unless you don't have the "A Woman's Lot" DLC, in which case NO DOG FOR U

      Remove the "Woman's Lot" DLC, then redownload it. Mutt should appear in the game. Then talk to Teresa. There is a dialogue option about the dog.

    What exactly is touched in the soul.xml file?
    I would like to merge this with another mod, but I am having some difficulties figuring out exactly what lines from your file to copy over ^^;

      Sorry for the late reply. The best thing to do when combining mods is to use a file comparison tool. WinMerge is my personal choice.

    Great idea!

    It might just be me, but I almost find Mutt too large now. Would it be possible to have a slightly smaller version? 10-15% bigger than in vanilla, perhaps?

      When I have a chance I'll make an alternate version. It's a super simple mod so iit's not a big deal.
