    Do Not Forget to add +exec user.cfg -devmode To Launch Options or Short Cut To Game For Mod To Work Correctly

    If anyone wants to adjust there own particles here is how to do it.You need Notepad++ and 7Zip or similar.

    Open/Extract Dust to Sparks Particle Mod.pak to desktop with 7Zip

    After extract to desktop you will have Libs\Particles folder with xml files inside

    Edit the xml files with Notepad++ and save

    EG: Sword combat in collision.xml

    Edit these areas-
    Count
    EmitterLifeTime="0.8"
    ParticleLifeTime="2.45"
    Spoiler:
    Show

    <Particles Name="sparks">
    <Params Count="180" EmitterLifeTime="0.8" ParticleLifeTime="2.45" RandomOffset="x=0.01,y=0.01,z=0.01" OffsetRoundness="1" FocusAngle="180" EmitAngle="180,Random=1" OrientToVelocity="true" BlendType="Additive" Texture="textures/particles/spark_single_diff.tif" Alpha="ParticleAge=(v=1;t=0.627,v=1;t=1,v=0.204,flags=4)" Color="ParticleAge=(t=0.004,v=(x=1,y=0.95,z=0.753);t=0.26,v=(x=1,y=0.83,z=0.357),flags=4;t=0.996,v=(x=0.93,y=0.192,z=0.086))" DiffuseLighting="0" EmissiveLighting="0.84" Size="0.0026" Stretch="0.047,ParticleAge=(v=1;t=1)" Speed="2.5,Random=1.018,EmitterStrength=(v=1;t=1,v=0.114)" InheritVelocity="1" GravityScale="0.4,EmitterStrength=(v=1;t=1,v=0.137)" FillRateCost="0" />

    After you edit and save the xml file of your choosing on desktop.

    Reopen original download of Dust to Sparks Particle Mod.pak with 7zip
    Navigate to the particles folder
    Replace the edited xml on desktop
    With the one in the open in 7zip press ok to save.
    Put mod back in the mods folder and test the game.

    2 Things,

    First, I had this mod for weeks and never noticed it was not working for me... the reason being that the game does NOT load any mod where the mod folder has a space in it! As soon as I removed the space, and updated my mod_order.txt, this mod (along with a couple of other in a similar situation) started working!

    Next, I noticed that bleeding seems to be a particle effect... so when I was doing the tourney and got hit and started bleeding, the WHOLE SCREEN turned opaque red until i lost... which was.... pretty bad ;)

    Nice mod. Think it would be interesting if you could make the effect somewhat less strong, it's just my personal opinion. Some incompatibility... lost fps? Cheers.

      Yeah it could be less strong on the particles but it is what it is.It would be impossible for me to set particles to everyone satisfaction.Default particles are fine I thought I would beef them up a little.As far as FPS goes the game is already tough on most systems,hell I am running RTX 2080 and I need to make user.cfg just to get to 60FPS.

    Probably best to change the mod's name.

    My first thought of this mod was "Seriously? Someone changed the dust particles to sparks?"

    My curiosity alone got me to see the truth download this mod.

    I suggest "Increased Particles Mod" or "Dust to Sparks - Increased Particles Mod"
