+Changed 'Headshot' Perk to give 10% chance of head knockout, up from 5%
This update was a lot of work tracking down all the modified perks, changing when each becomes available, and updating skill descriptions. There really isn't much more I would like to do with this mod besides provide fixes and updates for the DLC releases.

i was just trying to use your mod, but its not startup/work. the "mod.manifest" file is missing. or im doing something wrong with this mod ? most of the other mods are working for the aktuell KDC version.
Hey all, this is AJStoner. Just letting people know I am uploading a new version of this mod on the original mod page. Many thanks to DonGTIU for this version while I was away. I eventually hope to get all my mods updated but it will be some time before I can. I am starting with this as it is the most essential for starting a new game.
it is an awesome mod, but i had a big problem. the perks "slim fit II" and "master thief II" wouldn't unlock. So I locked in the pak and found the issue.
Listen Up:
You forgot to put the "master thief II" buff and perk ids in the "perk_buff.xml" and for the "slim fit II" you put the wrong perk id in the "perk_buff.xml"
It took me awhile to figure this out, but it would be good to update this.
Hiya! This Mod is amazing! Thank you for getting this out to us! I have a slight problem though. The mod itself loaded perfectly fine, even with my older HC save. The issue though is that on that save file, I don't have any skill points for the skills that I've already leveled up. (Bow is at lvl 20, but no points to spend).
Any thoughts on how to "refresh" my perks so that I can use them?
Hi! I've found that the issue you're experiencing happens exclusively when the 'English_xml.pak' file, which is in the Localization folder in mod, is either missing or in conflict with another of the same file. Do you have any other mods that edit the 'English_xml.pak'? If so, that mod and this one might not be able to be used together unless you want to manually merge them which can take quite a bit of work, but I might be able to assist if that is the case. Thanks!
I have about a dozen mods installed from earlier playthrough that worked well together: 1) Auto third person riding 2) better combat and immersion compilation <<< suspect this is conflict 3) stay clean longer 4) unlimited saves 5) weighted groschen 6) random encounters and a bunch of texture improvements....
Its too bad modding is in its infancy for KCD because I must have a conflict. I can see perks I can take (have the necessary level) but I cannot 'E' assign/claim the perk, just nothing happens. EDIT: removing your mod and I can assign perks...
Is there a mod utility that works to at least point to potential conflicts? I'll try JSGME [ https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1491845607 ] simply because it worked for flight sims in the past, but generally they are much simpler to mod.

Can't get the mod to work. Unzipped it into the mods folder. Started new game. New perks don't appear nor does the pole arm skill. No idea why. It's the only mod installed. I guess I'm missing something here. Description was a bit confusing. Do I need the original mod in order to make this one work? No mods are listed in the mod order list. Do I have to add this one to the list? If so how? Tried adding the folder name to the list and saved it. But after running the game the list reverted to being empty.
Ok, got it to work. The mod's folder cannot have spaces in it's name. You should rename it to bloodandironhardcorev2 or what ever the name is with no spaces. Figured I'd give a heads up. Changing the folder's name by eliminating the spaces fixed it and now it works.
Ah thank you for this! I apologize for this oversight, and I'm glad you got it working. I'm about to release an updated version of this mod in the next few days and will be sure to name the folder correctly :)

If you're having issues with the new game update, it is very unlikely this mod has anything to do with it, as, to my knowledge, no updates were made to the few files this mod uses. Check other mods you use for updates, and be sure that this mod's 'english_xml.pak' file is overriding others, or merge them before posting issues or bugs. That being said, I'm more than willing to help with any issues or bugs you encounter within this mod specifically.
like i said…. loading issue.. theres qst.. u are going to band of bastards camp and theres classic video sequence skipable by esc into fight, with mod there is inifinite loading screen.. video sequence runs and the fight not coming coz of the loading.. without mod it loads fine…
Interesting! And you've tried it with and without just my mod installed? I'm a little perplexed as to why the perk changes would have anything to do with that, but I shall look into it! Thank you
i had infinite loading screen after arriving to kunos camp after first dialogues.. theres loading into combat arena.. without mod worked ok... now in the end game im using mod witout problems
Currently working on updating all skill descriptions to correctly display when points are received, as well as ALL perks shifted up or down to correspond to the new levels at which they become available.

I drank some Lethean Water, and it seems to have worked!
But, for me it adds the new perks, but it doesnt add the description. ITs written like : "<FONT COLOR> &é'('(-'_ç'(ç"

I am too getting an infinite loading screen with the mod.
When disabling the mod it loads without a problem.
Edit: A bunch of other mods did not prevent loading
