Hey guys as for update, just checked and it works ok with a latest update.
I believe that it stop working for those who own DLC (I personally don't) . Unfortunately I can't fix it because: 1) I don't own DLC 2) Console Enabler script is not mine and even if I buy DLC I can't make it work anymore since I don' actually know how it works. Mine are only camera up/down scripts.
I think that maybe you can use this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/391 instead of console enabler script, it should do the same - unlock developers console commands, and with this mod installed use console command "wh_pl_FollowEntity dude". It should turn on 3rd person camera, but even if it works you won't be able to move camera up/down with script
I noticed that even though F5 and F6 don't work, F7 still does. It still offsets the camera, and everything functions as normal. and if you look down you can see your character. I honestly believe if you simply applied offsets to the X and Z axis also, to move the camera behind and slightly to the right of the player, this would make a much simpler and far more stable mod. then at most you would need to retexture the reticule to correlate to the offsets. This might be a much simpler solution to the 3rd person camera.

For me the mod still doesn't work even with the cheat mod and the autohotkey :\ when I press F1 I hear the beep but I start flying. I can open the console and type wh_pl_followentity dude and then it says 3rd pov is on but then I am still in first person mode :(
edit: I got it to work! install the cheat mod and then type -devmode in the start options in steam!
The mod works for me with, the problem is that it is very unconfortable to play this way. A lot of keys that could be less in number if could be used toggle instead of one key for on and other for off. Also F7 works erratic and not always work with the 1st press. The way our caracter moves (using wasd keys) is very weird, the devs sholud have thought on people who prefer 3rd person view (I really hate 1st person view in every game). At least should be possible to move the point of view with the mouse instead of the rare rotation with AD keys. I really think this game is another one in witch devs think they are god or something, and every other people must be mistaken if 3rd person view is better, because we have to play the game the way they want, and they do not realize that some people (like me) HATE 1st person view because of many different reasons that I am not going to explain.
The big problem that I find is that right stick (xbox 360 joystick) mapped using xpadder profile does noto sync mouse movement and movement eyes of the caracter, so I can look around and move the head at the same time using only the right stick, but they are not in sync.
It is incredible devs did not make 3rd person camera with hte right analogue stick used to follow the direction of the eyes instead of looking around the caracter. That would solve everything about movement in 3rd person view even without any mod (rotation movements, and aiming with the bow). I can not believe there is no "magic" console command to do so.
Cant Change the Y Axis when ever I click F7 or F8 The camera tool.exe closes. I can get into third person with F5 but I'm stuck with the camera centered on Henry's boots. If anyone has a fix or work around I'd really appreciate any help.
You should add instructions HOW to get my old control setup back, because now I can't play the game right with A and D rotating me instead of strafing!
F7 and F8 doesnt work. When I press F5 it is goign to the 3rd person view but the y axis is very loud and i cant set it highiest. Any help to change Y axis or make F7 works?
Apparently this could contain a VIRUT virus that infects files with .EXE and .SCR extensions and contains an IRC-based backdoor that provides unauthorized access to infected computers. Would skip it, gotta reinstall OS and backup my whole PC now just to be 100% sure, not worth the risk and no offense to the author if it's a false positive.
Windows thinks that all foreign executables that want to attach to an application to run are viruses, but this is not a virus. Neither of most of the exe's you get from Nexus. I would skip this mod though as there are many steps necessary to make it work in 2023, at least more than its worth for me.
How can I use this without the control changes? I mainly want it to just see my armor and take screenshots not for playing.
I rebinded F5 and F6 to F9 and F10 since I have F5 for the quicksave mod and that worked fine, but once I delete the mod folder with the rebinds it just doesn't work at all.
Trying to use this mod while using a controller. Nothing seems to be working properly. When I finally get the 3rd person to work, I can't change the height of the camera, nor use the controller properly when not using Xpadder. And when using Xpadder it makes my mouse cursor act wonky and sends the camera into a permanently looping spiral.
