Since you seem to be able to make sense of the scripting files, I would love to see a similar mod that prevents the Dog companion from howling every 2 seconds. He seems to do this every time I enter a building and wont stop until I come out. I can't imagine why WH thought this would be something we would want.
I still got no time to test the companion dog... Do you can upload/send me a savegame with him where he is already active companion? I found something related to dogs in specific files and for a fast respons i need a save^^
The version which includes no greetings doesn't appear to be working with v1.8.2. I thought it was at first as nobody was saying much, but now everyone is back to greeting me by name... even in towns I have never visited. Personalised greetings from random NPCs were a seriously poor, immersion-breaking design decision. Really crap that I can't get rid of them now.
Yes, I can give it a try if you tell me how I can disable these rounds between actions. I hate these move/action points and the time of rest until the enemy comes out of his bottom-thing ^^
@rataje A quick report just to help you with the update. The mod now disables ''the inspect'' interaction (no sound) and I'm under the impression it also disables other interactions with NPC's too. Cheers!

Just tried this mod out with the removal of greetings from npcs from the mediafire link, and I get infinite loading screen when cutscenes are transitioning to fights.

Didnt tested yet with 1.7.1. But your description sounds like the greetings file was maybe changed by WH. The new Tournament mode can be a reason for his stopped function. I've created the update before Capon and Tournament DLC's

A Nexus employee should change my name. But since this is already several months ago, and he did nothing, I am no longer interested in a nexus release itself.
I guess that is possible, maybe the file which has to modified is called "sb_switch_greetings.xml" Data\Scripts.pak\Libs\AI\final\ Last time I did not have enough time and I did not find the right function that needs to be removed or changed

NPC's only complain when Henry tries to run them over with a horse (which is justified). Otherwise they stay silent.
Can someone confirm this?
