I think you're doing something wrong because this is not an ENB, it's ReShade. When you install reshade, whenever you launch the game a small reshade bar should pop up in the left upper corner of your screen. If that doesn't appear, you're doing something wrong.
The mod works really great when it's day, but on any slight dark environment it'll be almost literally impossible to see. And this would be fine if it was just during the night, it would've been a nice feature, but even on a room with no lights (even when it's sunny outside) it gets ridiculously dark. Keep this in mind when you install it.
What I do not really understand from the description: 0.1- (Optional) I advise installing the shred666 mod "BEAUTIFUL SHADERS 1.2" here? 0.2- (Optional) I advise installing the bravo16mt mod "Ambient Occlusion Fix" here? 0.3- (Optional) I advise installing the Moosan82 "Volumetric Fog Enabler" here?
So install it in this order, and then overwrite everything with this Reshade? But beautiful shaders also requires BEAUTIFUL PHOTO REALISM V3.0 FINAL to work according to its description?
So what should be the correct installation order then? :)
They are recommended but optional mods, they are not required for installation, but I add them because they improve the visual quality of the game, helping the mod to visualize better, it is not really necessary to install them in an order because each one does something different, so do not worry, I recommend more than any other the "BEAUTIFUL SHADERS 1.2" as they improve the shaders of the game itself, then it is just install the mod by downloading the ReShade of the link that I leave and put my mod that would be just the configuration of the same.
MXAO is fake. Looks trough everything. MagicBloom + Depthaze --> Night :(
There are some opposite
Spoiler:

I missed night time. In my opinion atm, you put too much feature and effect you preset. But, it's a matter of taste. I stay at early version. No offense...
I put it because there are those who like it, also depending on which sites are not so bad, now it is as simple as removing it if you do not like it. I am not offended by this version to give more realism to the lighting, a balanced contrast and less color.
Just wanted say, v1,1 more Photorealistic and realistic, this one is more like a preset which try to pretend realism like, but instead of a preset with unnecessary, fake and so on filters.
Btw: Without any new feature are there any diff between 1.2 and 1.1?
PS: And of course I understand you trying out improve your knowledge. Rhat's obvious. These are just my personal thoughts, nothing more...
I took out a new version, The main difference is that the reality is not so dark, nor does it have so much color. This version is a revision of 1.2, adding more color, more contrast and less brightness on the part of Magic bloom. It is also important to mention that version 1.2.1 does not have the MXAO and DepthHaze shaders, which will consume less and there will be no graphic problems.
Maybe LightDoF_Far I'll disable or not. :) Try it out, if you think so. In my opinion it's realistic, night a little bit dark. Like these lite and well done presets without trying to make something I have no idea...
Thanks for your reply!
PS: I have tried for a short gameplay your new preset.
1st: This is your job. This is your idea. Just because me, say something different, or anything... You should'nt have to change you've done and think this is how you would like to see and think about realism, gameplay, etc...
2nd: Definetly, way better than previous version. I guess this is the right way. One thing I found too much: Brightness. Looks awsome, but for instance looking a rooftop, "white" walls, etc... I have a feeling this is not a sun, this is a reflector. Sry! A very strong reflector, or every rooftop has an own lightsource. That's how I feel. I almost felt I will blind when the sun shining and looking not just the terrain, or deep among lots of trees.
Not to mention, under loading screen. Just look at the loading icon at the right buttom corner. It looks like it has an bright aura. A lightning source, like a white led.
These are just my opinion, but based on other realistic, realism close presets.
Hello, I appreciate your comment, they can actually serve to improve the visual experience of the mod, so in general, I appreciate the comments because they help. In this case it was necessary an upgrade for its two shaders that went badly and required an adjustment. Then I'll see the brightness to see if you can do something decent with that, because I noticed but I never found it annoying, in addition to making the lighting better that happens, I'll be working later to treat it, I'll see what I can do these days , but for the moment this is the most worked version.
Nice! So, if you also had a feeling like me, maybe I am not mistaken.
As for your side: Obviously. You, play your game with your presets. In the meantime you try polishing your preset. So, mostly your experience is based your own idea, and your own presets.
As, for my side: I play the gam mostly, diff. presets. I am trying other changing other realism close preset. When I try a new one, obviously every differnce is more strong. When I play more hours with one preset and switch to an other one. But if you use mainly just your baby, you have no other experience. I guess mostly that's I felt 1,2,1 way too bright. Hit the roof! Wow, that's looks awsome, but sry, I do not want to blind. I hope you get what I am trying to say about...
PS:
And what I still miss, but there are lots of presets. A preset, which try to feedback the era when the game was acting. Dark, agressive, sad, lots of suffering, blood, dark, depressed, those time was everything but not the happiest years.
(I am a Hungarian. So, we had to study our history, and yes, Hungarians not famous about we tried to make the world better. For instance, Attila the conqueror. The middle age was very agressive time if you see the history. At KCD you see lot's of blood and violence, hanging people, homeless people, because of also a Hungarian agressor. That's the true story behind that era. And not the awsome woods, and picking up herbs, and see how beauty a water is, ... Of course I understand every Hungarian speak, and other stuff, so that's a strange feeling. Butthat's an other story... Sry! :)
In fact, I'm trying to make it look like that style you're talking about, because reality is as you say, but it's beautiful too. In this new version it is darker than the 1.2 and 1.2.1 with more color (more like the original) and more contrast and an improvement in the lighting that tries to lower the excessive light of the windows and doors in the interior , also together with the new shaders, which by the way both one and the other are configured in a subtle way so that it is realistic and pleasing to the eye.
Better than prevoius. Not overbright. I made you some screenshots. (lots of issues, and what sould be done more noticeable night than at daytime)
Every 1st one is was taken using by your mod. The others with Decent ReShade. https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/179
Which ones do you like more, and looks better, or less issues? Or, under gameplay, which one you find more disturbing than the others?
I choosed Decent ReShade mostly, because I like the mod other and his other presets. He has ENB for Fallout 4. My favorite ENB preset for Fallout 4, and lots of other gamers. Lite, realistic, and very small FPS drop. I recommend. Try it out. I am sure, you won't regret it. Don't remember, but in my opinion Decent ReShade use fewer ReShade feautre.
In my opinion, realism, and maikng realistic close one preset one thing. The other very important thing is, without any, or less issues. Because maybe one presets looks better than other, but hooops. I haven't tried it how it is look like under foggy weather. That's why I say, MXAO is fake. It looks through everything. Fog, water, everything.
I use OGP mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/121
It has some AO settings. And AO is not fake. Or we AO fix mod, yet. Less if sometimes more. :)
The last two ones, not because of realism. :) I hope you will get, why... ;)
And fake. It looks everywhere, under water for instance. I don't like it. Instead of right AO. I tried your preset. I found a little bit dark, a little bit much contrast, but looks well. I put to into my other fav. presets.
There's some close to realism preset here, and your one is also closer to realism than the other side.
Thank you, I tried to put all my effort into the details, it is darker in the interiors because I tried to make lighting more natural like the color of fire and candles. :)
I mean compared for intsance my actual fav. preset, which is Decent ReShade. Your preset + MagicBloom very close to Decent Preset. But in this case I use Decent. If I want a preset with more contrast, maybe warmer and stronger color use your one.
PS: Really thanks for the ico file. :) Very Cool! Like it! And your screenshots also awsome!
Thank you, I really wanted to do a preset with a configuration that is close to a very real visual quality, of course here it is going to taste but I wanted it not to consume much, thanks to all the images are cast without the magic bloom and you can see spectacular, these days I will optimize the shader and see if I can improve it.
PS: Sorry, I already corrected the section of the mod, for an error when creating the post did not let me change it.

Is there an easy way to tell whether it's me installing the enb improperly or if I installed this mod improperly?
When you install reshade, whenever you launch the game a small reshade bar should pop up in the left upper corner of your screen. If that doesn't appear, you're doing something wrong.
What I do not really understand from the description:

Just now saw you've updated your preset. :)
Didn't have time to try it out, but I'm sure I'll.
Looks promosing and more logic. ;) Expereince tha way to improve anything.
I will leave feedback. (but don't know when)
In the meantime, I found a very great preset as well, beside Decent. This is very lite mode, and I am impressed how well done job!
