2019-11-05: Main file updated to support game version 1.9.3
    - Changed how the whole thing works, but i didn't have enough time to test it thoroughly in all possible situations, so there may be still some glitches.
    - Comes with optional cheat regenerating stamina and health (i left it in for testing, will remove it later, in the meantime just dont use it if you dont want to cheat).
    - Use console command "mors" to get a list of available settings that you can change via console (to use the settings, replace "mors." with "mors_", so for example to change the timescale to 1:1, use "mors_timescale 1", and to reset it back to default 15 you can just omit the value).
    - Do not forget to bind some key to "wh_ui_showCompass 1" so you can use that key to show the compass.

The optional files changing the look of perk icons are still based on an old game version, so they will probably show messed up - do not use them until i update them to 1.9.3

Hi guys, I made an updated version of the perk icons. I did not test them extensively, but it seems to work fine after some
hours of using right now. so you might as well give it a try, if you want to have the transparent perk icons. Have fun. :)

Even after reading through the comments here, I cannot get the "mors_" to be recognised. After troubleshooting for more time than I'd like to admit, I cannot seem to get "mors_autohide_compass_timer_period = [0000]" to be accepted by the game.

It has been a loooooong time since last time i played the game, so if the game was still updated after the last time i updated this mod, maybe something changed and the whole mod needs to be updated to make it work again?

Looking at my GOG account, current game is 1.9.6-404-504czj3
And according to my last changelog, the latest version of this mod was only tested on game v1.9.3, so the mod may need to be updated (i will try to at least test it, and will post later what i found).

When you use just the "mors" command, does it work? does it print anything?

Also, i noticed you wrote "mors_autohide_compass_timer_period = [0000]" - note the brackets around the value, those are not supposed to be there.
If you want to set a timeout of zero, you shoud do this:
      mors_autohide_compass_timer_period = 0
...unless i completely forgot how it works and got majorly confused (which is possible, as my head is still spinning from a recent headache).

    For keybindings I prefer:

    bind 4 mors_autohide_compass 1
    bind 5 mors_autohide_compass 0

That way rather than having to keep pressing show compass every time you loose direction you can just turn the autohide on or off easily.

    =)

As soon as I drag the Scripts.pak file into my game's Data folder, the game doesn't start up.

That is because you are not supposed to do that.
Refer to https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Modding_guide_for_KCD to learn how to install mods for KCD, or just google some YT video on that.

I can not express how blessed this does, those qualities of life mod like this make the gameplay so much more refreshing and enjoyable. Kudo to your hard work.
Edit: There's an alternative way to disable the perk icon, just add wh_ui_ShowBuffs = 0 to custom.cfg, but all of the buff icons will be disappear.

The mod stopped working this morning. I reinstalled it anew and it worked again for a couple hours. Now it only works for the compass (buff icons stay on screen) and I can't for the life of me get the mod to work properly again!

I think the timescale doesn't work.
Time in my game still passes fast and 1 hour is just few minutes (like 5 I think) in real life.

Is there a way to auto-hide the health/stamina bar in combination with the "zHUD" option? Or, more precisely, to add the zHUD combat reticle to the auto-hide thing and remove the normal target dot? I love the zHUD combat reticle and that it removes the dot, but I don't like the transparent compass and really like the auto-hide.

EDIT: I get it now; duh. I think I'd prefer the vanilla stat bars, but I will try the options that already have what I asked for.

UPDATE: I take it all back! Subtle/Black is perfect!
