It's just called Talmberg Waffenrock. It's the rougher of the two red and white ones. Which was the Kobya again? Is it the blue and green one with the fish that Captain Bernard gives you?
The correct Skalitz waffenrock is the one Janek wears. You meet him when you first get the crossguard in the beginning of the game, and also see him in Pirkstein for the rest of the game. His waffenrock has the Kobyla crest, which is a shield design. It is the same shield that is engraved on the sword as well. I don't know why they didn't have more of the guards wearing the correct one in game. I just wish someone would release a mod, with the correct one, as something you can buy. The waffenrock in this mod is the wrong crest. It has the warhorse rearing horse, not the Skalitz/Kobyla shield crest.
The emblem and the overall appearance of the waffenrock is great. The belt was a well needed touch and I would like to see them on more of the waffenrocks. The only problem that i'm having with the mod is that it has retained the colors of Talmberg. I like the way it looks in your screenshots but in my game it is red and white. Am I doing something wrong?
Are you putting it is the mod folder? It's not set-up for the Data folder. Otherwise it sounds like a conflict since it's a straight texture replacement. If you are using any other mods that replace the same texture and they load after (like the 4k textures) they will show up and not this one.
Thanks for the reply. I took all the other mods out of the file folder and manually deleted the other files that were from other mods. I also loaded up a save file that wasn't affected by any modded saves and was v1.3.4 (clean as far as I know) and bought the Talmberg waffenrock with your emblem from the tailor shops in Rattay as well as Ledetchko. They were still red and white with the emblem yellow and red. I had some time so I thought, "what the hay?" I did a full reinstall of the game deleting the Mod folder beforehand. I created a mod folder after the fresh uninstall/install and put your Mod in all by itself... It was still red and white, lol. It's cool though. It still looks much better than the original so i'm happy with it. Thank you.
Yes, the color thing has something to do with game updates from 1.4.0 and later and I can't figure out how to fix that. The original textures bleed through on several items, waffenrocks in particular. I am looking into ways to correct this but so far it keeps happenning no matter what I try.
